Hertsscot
That and the fact he got sent aff! That was in the good old days when I got disappointed that we didn't get through the first round of the competition - oh, they were the days! exile
It's Burleys job to rant during a small slot on TV Seems he's doing good job of it too. Managed to get a piece in the Daily Record and then a link to TAMB and people clicking through. He's maybe relatively speaking a more successful shock jock than footballer? Still, painful to think that goal was our last on the world stage

He's maybe relatively speaking a more successful shock jock than footballer? He's all over the "saaaaaccer" over here. Him and Steve Nicol. There's a Scottish guy who anchors in the studio also. He doesn't look like a player.
hannibal smith
Burley has a point but was it not a Thomson plane and not a Dutch airline as he mentions? Cleary the pilot was enjoying the sights in Amsterdam and lost track of time, easliy done Yeah it was definitely a thomsons plane they got on. weekevie04
The Americans seem to be trying to build him up in to a shock jock, a Jon Gaunt type of football. He has some shitey segiment on ESPN something like ''Burley's boiling pot'' where he attempts to rant about what got up his irk this week in football. So much for a guy that doesn't watch the NT much anyway.

kumnio
Dundee reject. He is absolutely despised by every Dundee supporter, second only to Billy Dodds for being an utter whank.
adamntg
He is absolutely despised by every Dundee supporter, second only to Billy Dodds for being an utter whank. I think we can find common cause on Burley then. Didn't Doddsy say that if it came to it he'd support the BNBs in a derby?
kumnio
Billy Dodds voted against us when we went into admin the second time, now fair enough he was due his money, but only he and Chisholm did so. I idolised him for us when I was wee, but cant stand him now. Have met the BBC squad at away games, and only Dodds seemed like a knob. John_B81
Burley. WUM = Wind up merchant. Wouldn't say Burley was a wind-up merchant, more a bitter . Always comes across that way doing his commentary.
