SheepieTartanArmy
Just booked trinity college £160 for 4 nights from wednesday 10th to Sunday 14th. It says its a very central location just hope its not in the tourist trap.
gspain
Trinity College is a perfect location. Student digs rented out for the summer but will be fine for a football weekend. Safe location and you can walk everywhere. Stadium, nightclubs, pubs all within easy walking distance.
Irishandproud
How early can I get to the airport after full-time? Dart to Malahide and then a quick 10min taxi possibly?
ankles
will it be easy to get to and back from the Aviva Stadium to Tara Street on match day on the Dart or will they be mobbed
wanderer
will it be easy to get to and back from the Aviva Stadium to Tara Street on match day on the Dart or will they be mobbed Recall it being pretty mobbed for the last game, but IIRC the train station is situated on the away fans side of the stadium, so we were back into town in no major problem after the game (saying that, most home fans stayed to watch them get presented with the trophy) Aviva to the Templebar was a good 30-40 minute walk (not really any worse than Hampden to the city centre). cdisaaccie
Looking at possibly getting a flight out after the game - 2150 to Luton or 2200 to Birmingham - anyone reckon that's do-able seeing as game will finish about 1845-1855? Mine's at 2205. You'll be fine (if you know where you're going!) Only €9,99 too

greenforever
Ibis is miles out. Plenty of better options at the same price bracket No decent pubs near by and 30 mins by tram to town If you want a few beers not a good location. Hotel is ok just the location
Irishandproud
Red Cow, Monastery Rd. Does that sound right ? Sounds right but also sounds terrible! May I suggest Tara towers On Meririon road for anyone stuck, 10mins in a taxi to city centre and you are also very close to Ballsbridge for scoops before game.
