  1. Cycled it a lot of years ago, was good fun apart from chain continually coming off and handlebars coming slack.
  2. At one time Wales had lots of "Kingdoms", and they did have a King ( Gruffydd ap Llywelyn) that ruled the entire country. Seemingly he was known as the King of Britons, not King of Wales and only ruled for 7 years. http://www.historytoday.com/richard-cavendish/king-wales-murdered
  3. http://bloody-disgusting.com/news/3363320/fear-the-walking-dead-flight-462-to-be-a-16-part-web-series/
  4. Watched the first episode of season 5 of Homeland the other night, looks like this season could be better than last (which wouldnt be hard).
  5. Watching series 3 of Rogue hopefully it will be as good as the first 2 series. Black Sails was good, looking forward to series 3. Episode 2 of Fear the Walking Dead was much better than the pilot, so got hope for the rest of it.
  6. I wasn't impressed with it, will watch the next episode to see if it gets better.
  7. I was at a Glenrothes Aberdeen Supporters POTY night out many moons ago. Jim Leighton was in attendance, and I just had to be standing next to him when a Dons fans mentioned to him about Billy Thomson letting in a long range shot while playing for Scotland (can name mind who it was against). Leighton's reply was that "No Goalie should let in a shot from that distance". I reminded Leighton that he had let in a shot from a similar distance the previous season at Dens Park. He wisnnae happy at being reminded of this and told me to FO Ya St Johnstone Wa nk".
  8. Lord Pishy Pants believes that the story must be true and the Journalist is a good guy. Graham Watson retweeted George Foulkes 10h10 hours ago George Foulkes ‏@GeorgeFoulkes @tullythedhog @iainmartin1 Of course she would deny it. Telegraph reporter who wrote it is of highest integrity & always checks his sources
  9. When you're cutting it with a cheese knife is it straight up and down or at a 45degree angle like me? Ok Im bored, but I thought I'd ask.
  10. filmonlivetv.com I'm in Poland just now and am watching bbc on my phone
  11. Way back in the 1970's I went to quite a few East Fife and Raith Rovers home games as a neutral. I went to Old Trafford to watch Man U v Dundee United in a European game (went to the return game at Tannadump too). Cannae mind the year. Cardiff v Barnsley and Newport v Millwall back in the 80's I'm visiting Kraków in a couple of weeks, so planning to go to Wisła Kraków v Zawisza Bydgoszcz
  12. QOS deserved their win yesterday, Saints were awful. Good day out spoiled by an inept performance. We will win it back next season
  13. Don't forget that Jane Haining from Dumfrieshire also died at Auschwitz2 camp, although the official line is that she died in the camp infirmary.
  14. I stopped reading the Courier because they let that boot spoute her anti SNP bile.
  15. They can sell it to some private developer and turn it into a hotel. Parliament can sit in Buckingham Palace (after all it is HM Government), plenty rooms there for the mp's offices and portakabins can be located in the parade ground if extra offices needed The banqueting hall can do for the commons. Good opportunity to get rid of all those coffin dodgers from the Lords.
  16. If I ate a vindaloo I'd be stuck on the loo for a week. BTW I've fixed your spelling mistake Kenny.
  17. We are Perth, has St Johnstone fans voting 80% YES and 20% no.
  18. Sky news reporting the major telecoms companies meeting to discus the implications of Scottish Independence. It just gets more silly every day.
  19. Months ago a Bulgarian who drives taxis here in Glenrothes told me that he and his mates had been told to vote no. He never said who had told them, but he did say they had been told if Yes won, they would be sent home. I've told him on several occasions that this is not true. Hopefully I've got through to him, but not sure.
  20. One of the letter in today's online version of the Courier, said the guy had been named (although not in the letter), and that he was not a member of the Yes campaign. So if true, it looks like the authorities, the beeb, STV and the newspapers won't name him, and Murphy and the no campaign can milk the story as much as they can.Today's Edinburgh evening news has a story about Yes Hearts fans being attacked outside Tyncastle during Saturdays game (by no supporters), but lord pishy pants, says there's no evidence it was or orchestrated by the no campaign. http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/news/yes-campaigners-attacked-by-mob-outside-tynecastle-1-3527125
