I have to agree with a lot of posts we have missed a great chance to include 4 young players 3 of them are playing very well and 1 will definitely (GILMOUR) be in the team shortly. He has picked players like Palmer, Considine, Taylor and Fleck. I always thought International games players got picked on form. We need to change the team after the last 4 games. We played against teams that are meant to be at our level and failed to win any of them. When we play in the euros all the teams are higher than we are if we play the same we will end up being one of the first teams knocked out. Clarke needs to grow a pair and forget loyalty and play the best players not just because they have played well before.

Anyone know how Morrison is doing at Bayern. There defence is bad at the moment and I know they like to play youngsters so was hoping he was moving up the pecking order.

Did you see his face and body language when he came back out at half time. He didn't look at all happy by whatever was said in the changing room. I have a funny feeling he won't be at Chelsea much longer.

Palmer should never be near another squad he is just not good enough. A lower championship team is the best he will ever be.

So he decides to play for another country and its his choice. We have had plenty of players over the years play for us who weren't born in Scotland. Get over it not everyone feels the same about where there loyalties are. I'm of the thinking that you are where you were born and that's who you should represent. The rules let people play for whatever reason and I have to go with them. I still think we could do more to get players to stick with us but I'm not going to moan if they decide not to.

Still not convinced Gilmour should stay at Chelsea. I keep seeing posts about how much lampard thinks about him but has a team that have no consistency and are not playing well together and he still doesn't give Gilmour a run of games. He needs gametime to get anywhere near our squad and I think he has to go on loan or leave.

I think the reaction of some people is a bit OTT. I don't think us asking him to play for us getting an answer then going back and asking again is us grovelling to him. I don't like the rules when it comes to what country you can play for. It should be where you were born and maybe your parents that's it. The way people move around now means there are loads of options to play for a different country. The Adams situation is a strange one he has never said he only wants to play for England but we are all presuming that is what he wants. I think a lot of people wanted him to play for us a while back because our forwards are not the greatest. I don't think that has changed, we only scored 1 goal against 3 teams we should have done better against. Now if we do call him up and he scores in the euros and gets us into the 2nd round for the first time I'm sure nobody will complain then. My Hart says he should never get a game but my head thinks give the guy a try he might be what we are looking for. Defence is a lot better the amount of midfield options is great but we are lacking someone who will score.

You want to see or do you mean we should try the 2 of them in the march games. 2 possibly great players but that doesn't mean they will play well together. I hope they do gel and we will have a brilliant centre midfield for the next 10 years.

I do think we played well against Serbia but when you think about that game and the next 2 our finishing in all 3 have been woeful. I still think we made big mistakes letting the players get drunk on Thursday they are meant to be professionals. This goes back to the 70s in the world cups where we could have done so much more but the players thought they were on holiday rather than being professional. Robertson is not a wingback and I think he should swap with Tierney. Mctominay needs to be given a chance in midfield and Mckenna in the back 3. SOD yes he did OK but we need to get someone who can actually go passed the defender and cross a ball as well as defend. Sadly at this moment not sure who. We need to get somebody who can score. When I'm thinking about this that's not much of a list to hopefully make us a better team so I will stop at that. Got to be positive we can sort the few things out for the euros. Hope a couple of the youngsters manage to step up.

Got a text from my wife earlier (been working nights) saying are you awake yet? Me of course I've been up for hours I'm like a 7 year old waiting for Christmas. Been watching old videos and listening to the TA sounds with a tear in my eye. It's only a football match isn't it.

Definitely have the feel good factor back. Its been a long time since I felt this positive about how we are playing. Yes we let them have a lot of the ball but the defence and midfield look in control and organised. I even think we could get forward and score if they had got an equaliser. The future is bright but it will be hard to pick a starting 11 if all the players are fit. When was the last time we could say that.

There are a few of us from Corby on the board and I'm sure we can sort something out if we do win next month.

As usual with some people on here rather be the grammar and spelling police than talk about the actual post. Palmer may have crossed for the goal but he did absolutely nothing else. He couldn't control the ball and just seemed to stand in the wrong place doing nothing. He didn't help the defence or create anything going forward one of the worst performances I have seen in a Scotland team and trust me I have seen a few.

Still amazed that anyone would choose Plamer. After the last game I would rather play with 10 men. In fact I think we did play with 10 in the last game.

Think they will have to do 100% pick up. i don’t think it will be an issue with it being straight after the Israel game,not that many will travel so they won’t need to use the points system.

They are from Luton. As we live down here it makes it an easy option.

I think both results were what we needed and if I’m honest I didn’t expect us to win both games. When we have the chance of getting 6 players back for the March games. I think we have an 80% chance of winning the first game and a 50/50 in the final but if at home it will go up from that. i just hope all the players can take a lot of positives from last week and start moving on from there.

I think the answer is in what OGS said. We don’t have many players in that position so I hope he is not out for long. Man Utd need him more than we do as our next 2 games are dead rubbers. They want him to have a rest and are scared in case he gets injured.

I love the way people keep saying when we were good. When was this we have never made it past the 1st round of a tournament and now we can’t get past a playoff to make a tournament. It is harder to qualify now than it was years ago. I don’t think our standard has got a lot worse (yes a little bit) it’s just more teams for less places in the World Cup and stupid results in a couple of away games.
