Came across as completely disrespectful of Ronny Deila. I agree. Poor Ronny looks haunted every time I see him now. He must know the gig is up and yet somehow he has to win a double but frankly it's a mess of his own making and one he's being handsomely paid for. As for Moyes, you can make a case for and against him. We do need someone to stand up to the board. After Martin O'Neil left, the powers that be vowed that no manager would hold sway the way he did again. It wasn't unusual for M O'N to bypass Quinn or Lawell and go straight to Desmond to get his way in some matter or other. Things have gone so far the other way it's become ridiculous and the current manager is no more than a glorified coach.....and no a very good one at that! wembley67lisbon
Bad club to choose with them being in huge debt. had he waited a few months he probably would have got the Norwich gig.
Pool Q
No great fan of Lennon but it was a pretty impossible job he took on and he has been shoddily treated by a club that is in disarray. Edited March 16, 2016 by Pool Q
Dalgety Bay TA
I struggle to understand how a club like Bolton, who were pretty much a Premier League regular for 10-12 years, and would have banked all the big bucks every season, could end up so much in debt. They never seemed to squander lots of money on transfer fees, think their record signing is £8m, which in the grand scheme of English spending is buttons. They did probably spend on wages with some big names coming in on free's but you would have thought the league money would have covered a lot of that cost. They seem to have been grossly mismanaged from a financial point of view. Saying that, I saw an article last week which claimed it has cost Randy Lerner £70k per DAY to own Aston Villa. And he has owned them for 10 years....

Given the contract O'Neil left Balde on, it's maybe not surprising the club wanted to try something different?
