stirlish
Going to the Lyceum in a couple of weeks on Grindlay Street. Looking for an early evening snaffle. Any suggestions welcome, nothing too posh as we are going to Wishart's in Leith the following night (silver wedding present).Staying beside St Giles, if that helps. Cheers

Faddy'sMrs
If you like Chinese food The Jasmine in Grindlay Street is really good, or The Shebeen round the corner in Morrison St if you like a nice steak (big portions though so be warned!) ShedTA
If you want Italian there's two right found the corner on lothian road - bar Italia I think and another one. There's also bread meats bread there - a burger joint. And an Indian too - plenty choice just round the corner.
Capital Saint
For Italian, Il Castello has always been one of my favourites and it's just round the corner. The Blue Blazer is good for a post theatre dram

Definately worth a drink in there, not your usual antiseptic uptown hostelry though.
