AberdeenAngus
Not the greatest areas round about there. If it was me I'd train it there getting off at Witton ... unless you can get into the club car car park. Might be worth a call to the club. jimstroma
Last time I was at Villa park was Euro 96 against Switzerland. We marched about 2 miles to the ground behind a piper

Yeah, I had some time to kill in Birmingham and took a wee walk around the stadium. Seen villa park from the main road, but never been. dipped flake
Euro 96 we parked our minibus straight across the road from the ground, one of these 'match days only' car parks. Think it was a fiver in 96 so God knows how much now

Squirrelhumper
Yeah, I had some time to kill in Birmingham and took a wee walk around the stadium. Seen villa park from the main road, but never been. I worked down there Monday-Friday for a about 9 months a few years back. Did a few of the midlands stadiums for midweek games - Birmingham, West Brom, Villa, Wolves, Coverntry. St Andrews was definately in the worst area although it was the most enjoyable game as it was a 1st vs 2nd against Wolves and a full house. giblet
We stayed in Handsworth Wood during euro 96 on Aston university's campus. Fond, fond memories. we were in a pub next to the stadium with a big enclosed car park, again, as it was 20 years ago probably changed a bit..
