Parklife
If you can fill the ground fair enough otherwise sell the feckin tickets! Agree. The league cup final two years ago was a farce. 7000 empty seats as the polis refused to let Aberdeen have any more tickets.
At U Peter
Agree. The league cup final two years ago was a farce. 7000 empty seats as the polis refused to let Aberdeen have any more tickets. That in itself is ridiculous, they are there to police the event, not organise it.
Parklife
That in itself is ridiculous, they are there to police the event, not organise it. Polis said Aberdeen fans couldn't be seated in the top teir, above the ICT fans.
At U Peter
Polis said Aberdeen fans couldn't be seated in the top teir, above the ICT fans. They could have kept the first 6 rows of the upper tier empty if they were so worried about it then.
Donaldo87
Any idea when the TV companies will have there first shot at messing up the fixtures?
Angus_Young
they are still getting 8% of the ground. In this economic climate are we not better taking the season ticket money for 1300-1400 seats in the Robsebun and having a near full house every week? If you read his next post I think he agrees with you m8. In fact I don;t think anyone would disagree. If home fans can fill their quota so that the ground is nearly full most weeks then everyone would be in favour I would imagine. It's the tit for tat pish we seen at various games over the season that people object to. The carry on at the play-offs was a complete joke. Angus_Young
Polis said Aberdeen fans couldn't be seated in the top teir, above the ICT fans. What a piss poor excuse. I can't believe that even came into it anyway, you would think that would have been taken into account when doing the segregation.
Rossy
Any idea when the TV companies will have there first shot at messing up the fixtures? In the next week or 2 I'd imagine. Dundee United v Aberdeen would seem to be the stand-out fixture of the first week (although strangely, one that was ignored last season).....the problem is, if Aberdeen get through 2 European rounds the game will have to be played on the Sunday. They might just move it to the Sunday anyway and stick it on TV.
Donaldo87
In the next week or 2 I'd imagine. Hopefully. Cant find anything on the SPFL website but the premier league (and we love to try and copy the premier league) says this The first changes take place when our UK broadcast partners announce their opening group of live TV matches. This happens in early July and contains broadcast alterations for the first two months of the season (August and September). We also have the issue of ICT away on opening day if they get to the third round. Hope they make it but its a pain not knowing 100% for sure when the game is until 23rd July but thats the nature of this crazy stage of European football Not sure if the TV companies will take a fancy to us this year so hopefully our only game moved will be the first Lanarkshire derby in September
Glasgowmancity
Apparently the EPL TV fixtures will be announced on or before the 24th of June, so I'd imagine the Scottish ones will be around the same time
sbcmfc
Mid week festive fixtures are as follows: Wednesday 30th December 2015 Aberdeen v Partick Thistle Dundee v Celtic Hamilton Accies v Inverness CT Hearts v Dundee United Motherwell v St Johnstone Ross County v Kilmarnock And they wonder why attendances are down? These people are divorced from reality. That's mental! Hearts v Dundee United is just over an hour by car. Perth to Motherwell about the same. Dingwall to kilmarnock! That really is taking the piss! Hamilton v inverness attendance will be less than 2000.
