Web Sales Fee

Is it not just another way of charging for posting the tickets out??

i thought that was included in the £7.50 special delivery?

surely the admin work of dealing with the tickets and putting them into envelopes would be covered in the membership fees? or does over £1 million of membership fees not stretch that far nowadays?

how much is special delivery anyway?

I ordered mine this morning. My Order Confirmation shows £31 for the ticket, £7.50 for Special Delivery, £0.00 Booking Fee for a Final Total of £40.50!! I presume the extra £2, which is not shown on my confirmation, was the Web Sale. And I have not had the confirmation email either.

European Qualifier

Poland v Scotland

National Stadium, Warsaw

Tuesday 14 October 2014

Dear SSC Member,

Many thanks for purchasing your ticket for the above match.

Due to a system issue when purchasing your ticket, there was a £2 web sales fee added to your booking. This has now been refunded and should show in your account within the next 5 working days.

If you wish to discuss the matter further please give me a call on 0141 616 6196.

Many thanks for your patience and continued support.

Best Wishes

However, its not their first 'system error' of recent times:

Georgia home tickets - the link was available before the official time, and they had to refund people their money and cancel the transactions

England Away - similar to the above but it ran into 100's this time and also ended up in bad publicity in the Record over it

Anyone who runs a system when updating (should) run the update in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and/or SIT (System Integration Testing) BEFORE they put it into live but it seems their supplier doesn't even know how to do the basics of running a system

Don't be surprised if more "mishap's" occur in the future

PS - that'll be me picked for pick up now!
