tattiescone69
Still no news that I can find, including on the Georgia FF website. I have nothing to back this up, but one theory for the silence could be that the punishment is a closed doors game and UEFA are discussing with the SFA and GFF on how it can be communicated and handled. Obviously such a decision would have a big impact on the number of Scottish fans, who have already booked travel etc. In the perfect world, UEFA and the SFA would already have a plan in place for those affected, before UEFA announce anything. SFA having a plan , yeah good one . Doesn't seem to be any results of any of the disciplinary matters yesterday and there were a load set for 21st May
wanderer
UEFA have about a dozen or so cases to go through. Though the UEFA report into Georgia looks pretty damming on paper, its not all that bad when you look at the other cases (Ireland, Barcelona, Real Madrid..... Dnipro probably have the most to worry about!). Would not look/worry to much into lack of announcement.

If we’re having unsubstantiated guesses as to what is going on I’d like to join in with the following: There was a number of different hearings concluded yesterday and those decisions need to be communicated and understood by each of the FAs involved. They then need all need to be worked into one easy-to-digest press release. From my understanding the antics of the Georgia fans wasn’t violent, more akin to folk streaking while remaining fully clothed. You don’t tend to get closed door matches for that. Just told to improve your security arrangements and possibly a fine.

However, I agree that yours is the more likely, given the number of cases being discussed yesterday and the charges involved.

Charges that were brought up against the Georgian FA were things like field invasion by fans; setting off fireworks; insufficient organisation (stairs blocked, lack of body search, gates locked) etc...... pretty damming when you read it on paper. Not enough to get a closed stadium for a game (especially if first offence.... and from research it does not look like the Georgian FA are on any previous warning)..... At most increased security for future games, a section of the stadium closed off and a warning against the GFF
wanderer
UEFA have said they will not be punishing Dnipro (and that was a full pitch invasion!) so Georgia should be ok (hopefully)

Willie Miller's tache
Croatia have had their appeal against playing their next game behind closed doors refused. Does anyone know what they did? Hopefully they were much naughtier than Georgia
