Cove_Sheep
Dundee United midfielder Paul Paton, forced to sit out two games over the festive period after being offered a two-match ban by the Scottish FA compliance officer for spitting on Aberdeen player Jonny Hayes, has accused the governing body of victimising him because he has opted to play for Northern Ireland. (The Scotsman) I didn't even know he had, nor am I bothered.

Squirrelhumper
He'd be lucky to get in Scotland's womens squad. What is it with Scottish born neds playing with both irish teams?

He's never going to play for Scotland and his family are "Rangers-minded".

Lion Rampant
He is a tool though His reaction to the Thistle fans when leaving said everything you need to know about him. A few knobs gave him abuse on Twitter and he responded by throwing around GIRUY's to the fans and offering a square go to anyone not happy for him "bettering" himself. Contrast that with Chris Erskine who showed his thanks to the club and also the fans for all the support. Says it all that Erskine is still held in high regard and Paton isn't. That doesn't surprise me. Got a serious court case pending too does he not?
