fringo
Been using tesco for years for my monthly groceries etc and generally very good, but after some major c*ck-ups, I've had enough and looking for an alternative. Any suggestions, recommendations etc e.g ASDA ? Live in Dundee so may be limited ? Cheers.
JasMc1973
sainsbury's are the best, especially the deliveries, we aim to have ZERO subs...also you can scam the first time order discount with multiple email addresses (usually £15 or £20 off each time) It's what I do part time while at uni.. Can't believe you don't like a service where they replace cat food with onions and all the fresh stuff is going out of date two hours after they deliver
TartanJon
You ever thought about going to the shop and doing it yourself ?
fringo
You ever thought about going to the shop and doing it yourself ? I did say "monthly" shop. It's 95% for stocking up in bulk on items like wine, tins, bottles, loo roll, etc because I don't have a car. Not too much food involved as I buy most of that locally every few days - all within walking distance.

Fringo this loon didn't know you could get a home delivery when we were all out in the Horseshoe at Christmas two years ago.

kps022000
I am sure that Waitrose in Stirling now delivers to Aberdeen. I am sure they can swing by Dundee.

I'm with Tesco. We're all aiming for ZERO subs, but top marks for loyalty ! The thing with Dotcom deliveries is that theoretically it's all very straightforward, but it depends on Stock Controllers counting correctly, and the distribution network operating correctly and on time - otherwise the poor mugs picking your order are looking at an empty shelf, and a 'sub' has to be picked instead. I've used tesco online for 12-15 years (initially when I lived in Edinburgh) and overall they've been pretty good but some annoying things in the past and then more recently have tipped me over the edge. Lack of stock on basic items, vans breaking down, poor communication etc. The people I've met (i.e delivery guys) and spoken to in customer services have been on the whole very good. As you point out, it's the distribution network and organisation which has got my blood boiling. The individual staff have been great. Stapes
Compare as you shop: http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/ It's not a perfect system, but it's useful.
kps022000
Honestly? For nothing? Free on orders over £60. I am sure they only deliver 2 days a week so not the most regular delivery service.
