You can see shooting stars every night of the year if you have enough patience and happen to be looking at the right place at the right time. Yeah, I guess I really knew that already, was just surprised I saw so many in a short period after the Perseid peak. Alcohol has been taken throughout these observatons. Alcohol has been taken throughout these observatons. Aye, your measly 4 shooting stars, suggests a bit too much alcohol and not enough observation. At peak Perseid you could get 50 to 100 per hour. Which way am I pointing and what else should I be able to see of interest? I really think this is the hobby I've been looking for all my life.
