  1. So depressing politics in England - I am so far removed from all these people with the exception of Russell Brand's opinions. But there is no party in England anywhere near representing these views. Labour are pathetic - so hope come next election that SNP become the voice to represent the ordinary man/woman in the street.
  2. Bit cold and windy in Newcastle but nothing out of the ordinary. Fux me right off this continued media fascination with a catchy name for something. Last one that really annoyed me was that escaped prisoner they kept saying the so-called "Skull Cracker".
  3. I like Gordon Strachan , Alex Salmond, Jeff Stelling, Dan Walker who presents some of the BBC football is good. I like real ales , donner kebabs and a cheeky wee Chablis. But c'mon Phil Neville is absolutely fooking rank at co-commentary.
  4. Watching this game live - was hoping for a decent game between two north-east of England teams - however its being spoiled by the grating voice that is Phil Neville. He was fooking hopeless during the World Cup but the BBC are persisting with the most boring, bland useless fooking summariser ever. Doing my bloody head in. Why cant the producer see sense or does he have ear plugs in and cant hear the twat.
  5. Difficult to decide who I would despise most that's been mentioned on the TAMB - Seb Coe, Beckham for starters. As for actual posters on the TAMB - I haven't met anyone I don't like - but couldn't possibly decide which poster that I would like least - plenty of contenders though.
  6. I stopped going to watch Blackpool for two reasons - first the price - just wasn't worth it and secondly they made the ground all-seater - used to meet up with a mate of mine in the terracing but not possible to do so when not a season ticket holder. Ive also stopped going to home Scotland matches as the SFA are taking the piss here. Wont stop the away matches no matter what the price as I go for the whole travel and match experience. On the plus side , I really enjoy Junior matches - particularly the Junior Cup - great fun at a fiver a go.
  7. When yer stiffy is no in direct correlation with how turned on ye are. And ye need Viagra for 2 sh8gs in the one night.
  8. On the plus side - wee bit more dual carriageway between Newcastle and Berwick.
  9. I used to play rugby union many years ago but since it became professional and changed the rules its like watching paint dry . Also couldn't give a stuff about the Scottish rugby team and its fans - hotbed of no voters. But my main gripe here is every pundit seems to use the phrases "execution" and "physicality" non stop. Rugby league far superior in every aspect including the pundits.
  10. I don't know how to do the link but some kid in Salford is due to be suspended for making 14K selling chocolate and sweets at school despite the school banning them in favour of a healthy eating policy. All over the news members of the public seem to be praising his entrepreneurial spirit and saying he shouldn't be suspended. Well Id expel the little twat. Just cos he breaks the rules and other kids adhere to them this ##### is meant to be representative of the way "we should be" . Absolute bollo cks - Id make him pay the money back and send him to a young offenders institution - just stopping short of cutting his knackers off. Dunno how he managed to smuggle the sweets and chocolate past his old man - huge fat bas tard.
  11. Id be pretty sure that Watsonians is full of them as well - certainly going by your posts.

    Hoolies

Best atmosphere at away games since 2007 for me have been France , Fulham and Germany - Poland wasn't bad either. Wouldn't mind a chorus of Sweet Caroline and replacing it with "Oh Bonny Scotland - doo doo doo. "
  13. Precisely. Not bothered in slightest. We lost a friendly after a vital win on Friday. All year Brown has been tremendous along with quite a number in the team and we have played as a team. Last night for whatever reason be it tiredness or mental fatigue or anything else - we just weren't up for it. Brown wasn't his normal self and consequently several others were off the pace. They had a bad day at the office when it doesn't matter. We move on. Suddenly all different in England. They have been criticized following the World Cup. They play half decently against what was in my opinion a well below par Scotland and suddenly England are world-beaters again. All based on one meaningless friendly match.
  14. Scott Brown has been immense under Strachan. Great seeing him channel his play in a positive way instead of playing the hard man.
  15. I thought the effort and first to the ball was tremendous couldnt faulr any of our players. Excellent performance as a team. Couldnt give a flying fvck bout england game unless we beat them. Good position in group. Heres tae next year. What a great manager strachan is for us
  16. There's a new trend creeping in - seems to originate from Australia - whenever someone is asked a tough question - they reply with "Look........."
  17. Just watching his last FM questions today. Brilliant man _ I don't have many heroes - but my respect for him is huge.
  18. Have to agree with you thplinth. Although my version of Sweet Caroline (assisted by about ten backing singers) in karaoke bar in Krokow old town square was anything but wooden. Shyte but not wooden.
