  1. Ramy, are you sure your in Canada mate ?, the background looks more like Cumbernauld 🀣
  2. Agree as I said Airdrie certainly most pleasing on the eye of all the away teams that have played Clyde this season, certainly not how I remember the Airdrie of old playing 🀣
  3. Talking of Airdrie - having seen every division 1 team now play at Broadwood, Airdrie have been the best footballing team in the league (the lad you have Dylan Easton should be playing at a higher level BTW), if you had someone like Goodwillie up from you'd be at least level with Cove challenging for 1st place.
  4. Well deserved, what he, his squad & your team achieved (in a very short period of time) will probably never be achieved again in Scotland (sadly). Although many of the stand out players where from Glasgow / WOS, i'm sure you had a fair share of local lads, Neale Cooper I think was one ? (always thought he was a cracking player and underrated by most non-Aberdeen fans)
  5. Walking to Shawfield (Clyde) with my late Dad (very early 70's) from our then home in Govanhill. The excitement getting ready to leave the house The love and pride in my team That strip That amazing badge Shiteing myself when the big clubs came with their big noisy supports (mainly back then Celtic, Rangers, Killie & that mob from Maryhill πŸ˜‚) The smell of pubs & kerry oots Men selling scarves Sometimes getting a lift over the turnstiles spearmint & macaroon So many great memories that will be with me forever - I'm away for a greet 🀣🀣
  6. Yip - at that time we had to visit our mum (in care home with dementia), and stand outside and try communicate with her through a closed glass door or shout through an open window, only held her hand once during that summer before we lost her in the July x x x x x x Like you TP, fuckn fuming and disgusted in equal measures.
  7. Not too far from where I was born and lived until we moved to Kings Park when I was 10 years old (Govanhill Boy)
  8. My take on The Beatles (Haven't watched the above) McArtney - best musician in the band Lennon - best songwriter in the band Harrison - the quiet one but underrated by many Starr - not even the best drummer in the band πŸ˜‚ Mental to think what they could have created, even if they had stayed together until only the mid-70's ??
  9. Just started Jessica Jones - not too bad, some great shots of NYC.
  10. The Universe is so old there could have been countless solar systems & galaxies with highly intelligent life (even way more advanced than ours) that could have been and gone millions of years before the formation of our solar system ?? Have I got that right ??
  11. Or even down there - remember we won't have Gareth Bale running past Charlie Adam (looking like he was towing a fuckn tank)
  12. McCoist is like a breath of fresh air, compared to that miserable cunt Proven.
  13. TBF, Ross County have been playing really well and had some unlucky defeats recently they where due to give someone a doing.
  14. Just binged on 3 series this week. Daredevil - not too bad. Clickbait - started slow, got much, much better. Squid game - really good (brilliant in fact), GREED is a terrible thing. Noted a new series of YOU, need to give that a swatch !!
  15. As a complete neutral in this debate, I agree 100% with the above, and Aberdeen could and should have done better in the recent past (especially during the Rangers liquidation and them climbing the leagues period), Glass needs some more time IMO, although like all managers he'll live or die by his results. third best squad in Scotland i reckon.
  16. Not heard this album in years, has to be one of the greatest albums of all time, stunningly beautiful and probably more relevant today than when he wrote it in 1976 - the man is quite probably a genius. (Tried to post the full album as every song is equally brilliant)
  17. Very true - he can be a dick at times, but he is a massive Scotland fan !!
  18. A hard fought 6 points - think we have seen the best of Israel and they have yet to still see the best of us (hopefully)
  19. I have similar family background (though saved by my Mum πŸ˜‚) Dad was born and bred Bridgeton (big orange area of Glasgow), Mum was born and bred Gorbals (melting pot of many nationalities but certainly not orange) My old man always wanted to take me to Rangers games, my Mum wouldn't allow it, so he settled for second best and started taking me to our nearest team, Clyde (we lived in Govanhill at the time, early 70's), so glad that was one of the few times that he listened to her πŸ˜‚
  20. Never seen so many ugly bastards with wan tooth in my life πŸ˜‚
  21. He always looks like he wants to jump over the table and stick the nut on a few of the journos πŸ˜‚
