  1. Nicola might be putting forward the same outcome as Michael Fallon and the RemainTories but she'd be putting forward a very different case for that. There's a good chance that she'll be able to influence left of centre soft remains and also people who are fed up with Project Fear on both sides. I think one on one she could give Boris Johnson a bit of a showing up The people that hate her are most likely strong Leaves anyway. its a totally different scenario from Better Together where Labour and the Tories not only physically shared a platform but they also shared a campaign and the arguments - such that they were.
  2. A mate of mine is doing the catering for the tour, if I need to know where Springsteen is playing at any point I just look at Facebook.
  3. There was 180 on the booze cruise if that's an indication. I'd have said 750 personally.
  4. Did the picture of the streaker not come out or something?
  5. Another advocate for 3-5-2 that misses the obvious fact that we have a dearth of centre backs. We struggle to find two that are good enough let alone three.
  6. A bit harsh on the Hull and Sheffield Wednesday players.
  7. Is Bannan playing? He's been anonymous.

    "Big Jim" Home

I'd heard from Pete that he wasn't well. A truly lovely guy. Terrible news.

    Kim Little

Forget about Fletcher, she should breed with Messi or Pele if he's still on the Viagra.
  10. Chris Martin, Lee Wallace and Alan Hutton all withdrawn. No word on any additional callups yet.
  11. I'd completely disagree with that. I reckon that Barton is a good player - no more than that, but better than 90% of the players he will be up against next season - but that his temperament has held him back from achieving what he might have done in the game. His best days are behind him but then that - and his reputation - is probably why he is at Rangers. Time will tell whether or not its a successful signing..
  12. That's not strictly true. He was charged on two accounts, a sectarian assault and breach of the peace with religious aggravation. The assault charge was found to be not proven. The jury struck off the aggravation on the breach charge and he got 8 months for that. However as he'd done 4 months on remand already he was freed. I think he was prepared to plead guilty to assault without the aggravation but the PF obviously had a complete hardon for getting a sectarian conviction and screwed it up.
  13. I think its pretty hilarious that Man Utd fans have been castigating Mourinho since his Porto team put them out of the Champions League 12 years ago and now he's the bleeding messiah. At least Chelsea fans were consistent when it came to Benitiz.
  14. That may well be a defence, a pretty unsuccessful one I'd imagine though.
  15. Maybe because that wasn't what was happening. There was certainly a conflict of interest - which is for from good practice - but as far as I know, there's no suggestion that it contributed to the overruns. In fact it seems that what was happening there was that onshore contract staff were being replaced by offshore staff, which you generally only do for one reason, to reduce cost.
  16. Sounds like they didn't have the requirements nailed down before the project started which is always a recipe for disaster.
  17. Fair enough, but what evidence do you have that Richie falls into that category?
