No outrage here? Seems a nice man. Nicola should not have defended him quite so quickly last year. Out of touch perhaps? There must be extras that can be added in the past 5 years of new moral politics especially councillors, North Lanarkshire akways ripe for it. Mark McDonald - harassment and threatening behaviour. Caroline Stephen - £4000 council tax arrears paid off by local party. Lewis Ritchie - still suspended? Bill Walker - domestic abuse. Michelle Thomson - financial irregularities. Natalie McGarry - financial irregularities Stewart Hosie & Angus McNeil - bizarre adulterous love triangle

Burke is not starting for a struggling West Brom team. Often not making the bench. To say he should be in the squad let alone the team is ridiculous.
  3. McGinn is not a holding midfielder McGinn is not a holding midfielder McGinn is not a holding midfielder McGinn is not a holding midfielder He is not a like for like replacement for Brown.
  4. There is a new EU regulation called GDPR which is very strict on data protection. Yoy now need to opt in not opt out hence the above ticking needed.
  5. I used to fly weekly with work for and found Glasgow a good airport. Prefer it to Edinburgh. Security is better and Edinburgh has arriving and departing passengers mixing which can make it manic. Agree destination choice could be better but its supply and demand. Maybe in an ideal world 1 airport for Central Scotland would suffice.
  6. Aye spot on. APD is different in Edinburgh compared to Glasgow...... They are shifting like for like. Nothing to do with APD.
  7. Robertson has stated he does not like playing left midfield.
  8. I went to the pub to watch this thinking Aberdeen had a good chance against a tired and injury hit Celtic squad. Conor Sammon at Thistle has scored more goals than Dembele this season. The keeper is a bomb scare. The defence is shaky. I was genuinely angry at how poor Aberdeen were. No ambition. Too much respect. Dull. Unambitious. Scared even. Total and utter shit. Everything that is wrong with teams versus Old Firm. Derek McInnes as Scotland or even Rangers manager? Naw.
  9. It's really not a big deal. Aberdeen will shite it v Celtic or Rangers (now add Hibs to the list) so where they play does not impact their performance or result.
  10. The narrative on Hampden Park is way out of line with reality. Terms like "Dilapidated" and "not fit for purpose" are pure hyperbole similar to a political rant on social media. It has positives and many inaccuracies in the current debate. Transport It has 2 train stations. 5+ public bus routes. Shuttle buses from Buchanan Bus Station. 1 hours walk from city centre. About £10 to £12 in a taxi. Every stadium has delays in getting 50k out after a game. Wembley, Ibrox, Parkhead, Murrayfield. There have all been delays when I visit them for football, rugby and concerts. Better planning by supporters would make their journey easier. Better communication on what is out there would also help. Pubs There are 20 pubs within a 30 minute walk of Hampden. More restaurants. About 10 bowling clubs. q nightclub. Lots of places for people to go before and after the game from traditional pubs to trendier bars in Strathbungo. On here it seems people congregate to the same 2 or 3 venues that cause chaos. Facilities Yes behind the goals is poor. That is one area that should be improved if financially possible. South Stand is superb. North Stand is decent with upgraded facilities from Glasgow 2014. What else do people want? A fan zone in Lesser Hampden would be very good especially for families and hopefully something there or in the car park would be used. Atmosphere In the past 15 years Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine, France, Italy, Spain, England even Poland were all games with big atmospheres. Late goals v Slovakia and Slovenia were outstanding. I've seen grown men bouncing out the stadium after a good result and heard roars that I don't get at my own club team. On the pitch and off the pitch combine to make the atmosphere. It can be good. It can be very good. Being in another stadium would not improve this. History It's our home. Spiritual home of Scottish football. Go the museum as it is brilliant and learn and remember the history of the place and our place in the global game. The unique setup of Scottish domestic football means we need a neutral venue for the Old Firm who will (unfortunately :-) ) be in many cup finals against each other. This is the way of the world. Why would you want money to be given to the 2 biggest clubs if we played there or to another sport at Murrayfield? Selfishly it also brings a lot of money to Glasgow which is where I live.
  11. The coffee is decent. The famous "Tim Bits" were disappointing. It's ok. 3 sites in Glasgow now with more to come.
  12. No one cared one bit about Trump and his golf course on here at the time. He is best chums with Alex Salmond. His mum is Scottish. He is on The Apprentice. Tick. Tick. Tick. The SNP Government and the council bent over backwards for him. "You've Been Trumped" film hardly made a dent on all the parties that were involved in the golf course. Years later it's all grand standing and moral outrage now the walloper is President after ripping up all the rules to get elected and making most people worry on a weekly basis.
  13. Belfast is a weird place. Been about 10x and still don't know it. Different friends have lived in different areas but you don't walk much due to the different areas of painted kerbs and flegs not to forget the peace walls. Never been on a bus as its taxis everywhere. Excluding NYC Belfast is the city I have used cabs the most. It's frankly a ridiculous place and I'm amazed anyone who has left would return which 2 of my mates did. Stay in the city centre which is small. Avoid all politics. Rugby is supported by most. Any old firm games should be approached as you would in Glasgow but why watch that shit when you support Thistle? The Crown and Robinsons are overrated but safe touristy bets. The restaurants as a whole are a bit meh. Taxi tour and Titanic very good. Bus tour decent. I'm over in the summer and will do Crumlin Jail. Everytime I get back to Glasgow from Belfast I feel like I have returned to NYC. It's small and self obsessed and a ridiculous place to be honest. Enjoy!

Renewing was a piece of piss. The shambles are the users unable to follow instructions.

I'm in. Love Hampden. Love the big games. Last qualifying campaign had me enthralled like 2007/8 run. Both failed but fantastic run of home games and results.

At least here they mirror the support.
  17. 3-4-3 or similar could work. I whisper it but El Tel Christmas Tree formation at Euro 96 would work for us. At the moment I'd go for this. ------------Fraser - Griffiths - Forrest--------- -------- Brown(?)/MacAthur - Armstrong--- Robertson-----------------------------Paterson -----------Tierney - Berra - Soutter---------- ------------------------Gordon---------------------

I live outside Glasgow so every game is an away game. As a result I choose to go away on holiday abroad. This is not a valid excuse or argument. You choose to spend your £ on hokidays abroad with 90 mins of football squeezed in the middle.

Changes and reasoning all seem logical to me.

The current system was created when travelling was difficult. Now its easy to organise, people have more disposable income and it's an "event" where football is a small part of it. It needs to change. People are being rewarded out of proportion for going on holiday and not even bothering with home games which should be your core support. There should be rewards for all fans and not just the people who travel usually in the older age group with cash to spend.

The power of the SFA Chief Exec is very low. They don't make the strategy but implement what the board tell them to do.
  22. Get more people in? We only sold out 1 home game in last qualifying game.
