  1. Naw, it's pure logic. (Spoiler alert) Our manager is a total whänk, results have been poor and England (who are massively better than us) will horse us in a meaningless game. I will most certainly not be going with the exception of the following both happening between now and the summer; a. New manager b. Significant improvement in the performances. Feel free to give the SFA money and continue to fund failure though.
  2. I'd imagine the SFA would give England an additional allocation if sales stalled. I expect enough mugs to stump up the cash though.
  3. This is a low point for sure. Embarrassing stuff.
  4. In my experience most people who are overly religious are social outcasts. The world would be a better place without religion.
  5. Rich Z-lister dies and everyone is supposed to care. Had infinitely more opportunity and comfort than most and wasted it.
  6. Have just renewed Broadband as it's the cheapest I could find on the market. TV expires shortly. Can pay £10/month retainer for use of Sky+ box to save buying a decent freesat+ box at some expense. Had at one point been paying £85/month for which I can't really justify why. Set to save roughly £650/year. Mental as I'm all over the rest of my finances.
  7. Interesting to see all this Kodi box stuff. Aware of it already but still dubious about how user friendly it is. If something came along with a small fee that pulled everything together I'd be really keen. My Sky is out of contract in a few months. Will look more closely in the next few weeks.
  8. Ironically my car was ex-PCP purchased second hand from the forecourt the market is flooded with them as people trade up/down early within a 2-3year deal.
  9. I still don't get what the attraction with PCP is. The car manufacturers/dealerships have done an amazing job of convincing people it's a good idea. I took a low APR loan over 2 years to buy a 1yo ford. Will own it at the end and then effectively run it for a pittance until I feel like it's time to change. Compare that to a PCP deal on something like a BMW where I'd hand it back and start all over again with £250-300/month payment.
  10. Hadn't considered working with your missus, probably an escape that most folk don't have! I dostruggle to believe you're not grumpy in the office though salmon if heated up is classed as smelly. I eat any fish in the office cold so not to cause offence.
  11. There's a guy at my work who's a manager and a bit of a bully. I don't report to him but he regularly annoys me. I'm a fair bit smarter than him so enjoy standing up to him as he's easy to make look like a cvnt. The sort that composes an email over a 24 hour period because they're too thick to just talk something over with you
  12. Also some people have no filter and will literally tell you any anecdote regardless of the absence of entertaining/interesting content.
  13. I know a few guys with work group chats for weekend coupons an that. Best avoided imo
  14. Sad but time is rapidly outdating the high street. I just wish the banks passed on the benefit of using online only rather than just increasing their margin.
  15. There's a girl I work with who is probably about 18stone and chuckles constantly at things that barely merit a smile. She's got terrible chat to boot. Its got me thinking, there must be that one guy/girl at work who does your head in daily.
  16. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic from them. Desperately trying to squeeze every last penny without any degree of self awareness.
  17. Mark Lawrenson on football focus without any sense of irony was lambasting Costa and other for going to another country chasing money in foreign leagues Nothing to do with his arrival in England then
  18. Ultimately all comparison sites for hotels will fall to two companies; Priceline and Expedia.
