My only hope is that McTominay ended up rolling around holding leg recently v Chelsea and looked like he had done some serious damage, yet he was only out for a couple of weeks. Hoping may be the same scenario.

This one to McTominay has properly deflated it for me. He was absolutely massive for us during qualifying. Especially when we don’t have an out and out goalscoring striker & rely heavily on our midfielders to chip in with goals, then you know you can rely on the likes of McTominay, McGinn to step up and produce a moment of brilliance out of nowhere. I don’t know if it was a contact injury or if he hyper extended his knee but his recation is a worry as he’s seen here signalling towards the bench to be subbed before the physio does, banging the turf in anger and even struggling to get himself down towards the tunnel.
