Ormond
Sorry Ormond but no. The upkeep of old pittodrie (with an opportunistic do-a-stand-at-a-time strategy) compared to the enormous debt burden of building a whole new lets-enrich-our-owner-Stewart-Milne-stadium? Thank god Aberdeen City Council are not whanks and corrupt two faced kunts otherwse this would be a done deal. No, what? LolI only stated the position that Saints were in in the '80s. We were days away from going under. It was that serious.
TartanJon
Pittodrie has past it's sell by date that is for sure, whether a move to Cove is the answer I don't know.

Seems as if Cove is the only option if there is to be a move.

Maybe Councillor Young and his Labour friends on the ACC could build a tram system to run from Guild St out to the stadium. Just a thought.... dandydunn
Having the ground out of town will be a transport nightmare. It won't. It would be sitting on the A90.
ShedTA
Yep, correct. The upkeep of a seriously crumbling ground had us on the verge of doing a Third Lanark or a Rangers.
