Anyone at the AC/DC gig where Angus came out with a Rangers scarf (think it was the FTATR tour in 81ish)?

Also was it the 79 gig that was close to being axed half way through the gig because the fans started wreaking the place?

Malcolm talks about the 78 gig on the Australian version of family jewels and said the Scotland kit idea came about because they had been at the Scotland v England home nations match at Hampden during the day (Bon Scott's scotland 78 World Cup scarf was in display in the Kelvinegrove a few years back).

I'm sure the wrecking the place gig was the City Halls one and that was in June 1976.

Speaking to the guy at my work, he says it was 76 where a bunch of fans ripped the seats out from the floor in the first 4 or 5 rows and went on a absolute war path (he is not 100% but thinks it might be the same gig that Bon Scotts bagpipes got stolen at, as he left them at the side of the stages for "Long way to the Top" and fans started fighting over them).

He recalls a gig in Edinburgh where the band did have the leave the stage for their safety as it got very heated.

The Angus with a Rangers scarf he thinks was Highway to Hell tour, as he recalls a interview at the time where the Youngs had been at a Old Firm match during the day at Ibrox.

I'll spare the Young family further ignomony and not look up the fixture lists this time...

27th October 1979 they did a gig at Glasgow Apollo. Celtic beat us 1-0 that day at Parkhead

Out of curiosity I looked :-))

Rangers beat Celtic 3-0 at Ibrox on 1st of November 1980 (making it Back in Black tour), and that night AC/DC played the first of two gigs at the Apollo

Now I think about it, I'm sure I've read on Gers forums about this day/night previously. Think this could be the winner.

I was there on the Saturday night and can't remember Angus or Malcolm with Rangers' Scarves.
