fringo
There's a few but I can't say I really know them as I live at the other side of town with 3-4 really good places within a few hundred yards. The Gunga Din is still popular with folk I know and has been around for many, many years and the decor still looks the same . It's a bit of an institution to many though. Spice might be quite good according to Trip Advisor : http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g186518-d1674845-Reviews-Spice-Dundee_Scotland.html They used to be in Broughty Ferry and was quite decent back then but they moved to Perth Rd 2-3 years back (I assume it's the same people). Malabar also gets good reviews but I've not been http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Search?q=malabar+dundee&geo=186518&pid=3826&returnTo=http%253A__2F____2F__www__2E__tripadvisor__2E__co__2E__uk__2F__Restaurant__5F__Review__2D__g186518__2D__d1674845__2D__Reviews__2D__Spice__2D__Dundee__5F__Scotland__2E__html
irnbruman
I thought there were plenty of cowboys in Dundee to repel the Indians or will they send for the cavalry. Just phone Mr Murphy - he''ll come to the rescue.

fringo
No probs. Depending on what type of night out you're planning, Broughty Ferry is pretty good not only for curries but some good pubs too. Perth Road has pretty much everything too though.

dandydunn
Going out for a few beers in Dundee next few weeks. Will be heading up Perth Road / Nethergate. Any Dundonians on the board recommend a good Indian Restaurant? When you're there, can you check the lights outside Dr Noodles work please? I put some back up today and the arsehole joiner decided to cut through a cable,so I haven't had them on yet. And he was fannying about,so I just came home. Much appreciated Edited January 29, 2015 by dandydunn

According to the old joke, the doorman there was known as Mahatma Coat but you probably can't say that these days.

Aye,there's 3 new ones too that look squint and off centre, but they won't be seen soon
fringo
As long as you haven't changed the lights to Dons 6, Utd 0 or there might be less lights operational tomorrow night. Are you responsible for the squint ones then ? Celebrating too soon ?
