I can kind of see what you are saying. However a better symbolic point would have been a mock funeral for 'The Vow'.

"No publicity is bad publicity." We must continue to try to get the message across that this is NOT a good deal for Scotland. The Unionists own the media. The only way to get the message across is by unusual means. We cannot allow the media to continue to con the people of Scotland that the "Vow" has been delivered.

You clearly have more imagination than those cooncillors. Your ideas might be better than theirs. Would your funeral idea end in a cremation?

To be fair though, I didn't hear any unionists denouncing it, or the burning of Alex Salmond in effigy. Yet turn it around and make it less outrageous and you can almost taste the faux disgust.

Well if Labour councillors had burned the White Paper on youtube there would be similar outrage.

That said, the dafty Labour MP at Westminster comparing them to Nazis was being ludicrous. Rightly put in his place by Lord Smith's glib answer.

Hopefully he will be heading doon to the jobcentre after next May.
