Seems like a good option. 15 minutes by train, including early morning and not too far if a taxi´s required. Hotel a reasonable price too. Got digs booked in Karlsruhe been before plenty pubs etc but not sure there will be much going on after midnight, anybody stayed in Baden Baden (got digs booked there also) much going on or the same as Karlsruhe? We arrive 21st June then fly home from Stuttgart on the 24th (hopefully will be flying back to Germany for last-16 match a few days later 😉).
