Big Ramy 1314 Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 Brilliant !! Considering they just knicked the playoff spot. I watched it, boys played well. 🏴🏴🏴
Orraloon Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 Fantastic performance by a Scottish team. Mostly ignored by the State broadcasting company. They didn't just sneak into the playoffs though. They got into the playoffs with one game to spare. If they had won their last game they would have been second in the league and straight into the semi final. But to win three games on the bounce against Sweden, Canada and Switzerland is an amazing run. They are the first team ever to win the gold after coming through the playoffs. Probably won't even get a mention in the EBC SPOTY, though.

Orraloon Posted May 2, 2025 Posted May 2, 2025 Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds have just qualified for the playoffs in the Curling World Championships mixed doubles. Not a single mention on the BBC website. There must be memos/emails circulating around the BBC instructing them not to cover anything positive about Scotland. They really are a despicable organisation.
