Ben Doak being looked at by Nottingham Forest for a loan move, apparently. Personally I think he'd be better off training with the likes of Salah every day until the end of the season at least.

But if he were to be getting first team football regularly in the EPL at 17, that would be hard to argue against.

The result is irrelevant at this age group, especially with the known deficiencies of the coach.

It would not surprise me if we see a Scotland squad with 5 of these guys in it, say, 3 years from now.

Doak is inevitable. Probably the most exciting winger to break through since Ryan Fraser.

Result should always matter, players should be made to be winners, not just accept whatever.
Fraser is wank

Doak is like Ollie Burke - if Ollie Burke could play football!  😂

He's a really exciting young player.  Here's hoping he keeps getting better.

I think with the right coaching Lowry could ripen into a wonderful player.  His physicality doesn't worry me too much - he's quite tall and will surely fill out as he gets older.  He's very skilful and has great balance.

It's a pity he is at a club where you'd need a telescope to see how far winning things takes precedence over player development.

Hopefully he will bulk up a bit, have seen it with Gilmour over the past couple of years, being able to handle himself a bit better. He's also not long back from an injury so hes maybe not done much gym work recently.

Just seen images of Alex Lowry with specialist coaches(none Rangers realated) in Dubai along with Ryan Jack in a bid to get themselves ready for the next part of the season, also a number of other players from the EPL including Liam Cooper, But hopefully that is a better sign than previous comments about his attitude.

"Irrelevant" was probably too strong a term, but the results at u21 are less important than the experience of getting international camp exposure, and building camaraderie with their potential future senior teammates.

Fraser divides opinion now, but when he broke through at Aberdeen at 18 he was electrifying. I can't think of many other wingers that excited the fans in the same way. Maybe Forrest, McGeady(before he officially chose Ireland), GMS?

Yeah, i know what you mean, just think all games should be played with an emphasis on winning. I canny play anything without wanting to win and i dont understand how a professional could have any other mindset.
