It doesn't matter what players we put on the park, the results will be the same. We could replace Steve Clarke with Billy Stark (apart from the rhyming quality) and we'd see the same results. Like it of not, last night's team was pretty much our strongest line-up. It's a fact: Robertson, McGinn, Fraser, Fleck, Snodgrass all play in the EPL. People seem to think McGregor is our Xavi, when in actual fact he's our Jesse. lingard. Burke starts in La Liga. Mulgrew is pretty much our best centre back and Marshall is our best keeper. Add Palmer and Devlin, as they're just place-fillers. That IS our strongest team. Apart from Tierney and McTominay. People can talk about Christie making thd difference or Hornby or Gilmour, etc. They wouldn't. Scotland's issue isn't as shallow as who plays and who's the manager. Scotland's problems are 30 years old. It won't be solved by playing Christie or Forrest instead of Burke and Fleck or sacking the manager. It'll be solved by everyone in Scottish football getting together and working together for the sake of tbs national team and Scottish football.
