Not every city is equipped with a wee perfectly circular single route scalextric underground. So someone who doesn't know is perfectly entitled to ask questions.

Actually, the advice of getting on at Buchanan street and going the 'wrong' way is probably the best because you get in before the crowds pick up and avoid the third world part of the route.

You can get off at govan if you are in the broomloan end, 5-10 min walk

May I be controversial? If you're at Sauchihall/top of Hope St get on at Cowcaddens. A wee golden nugget of a station folk forget about. It's nice. Then go via Kelvinbridge.

You can get off at cessnock, but it's further away.

Although if you've ever got the train to fir park, Airbles is nearer than Motherwell. (Although neither is particularly close to the away stand)

I prefer getting off at Motherwell then going to New Century as it's closer to away end.
