antidote
You can bus it there, if you want, and Taxi it back. Bridge of don is not that far by taxi, but too far to walk.

AECC is couple miles up the same main road as Pittodrie https://www.aecc.co.uk/your-event/getting-here/ Bus Route 1 or 2 from Union Street + there is a Gig N GO service https://www.firstgroup.com/aberdeen/plan-journey/journey-planner/?from=Union St, Aberdeen AB10 1TT, UK&flat=57.1429208&flng=-2.11190160000001&to=Exhibition Ave, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen AB23 8BL, UK&tlat=57.18614530000001&tlng=-2.0887133999999605&date=2018-08-26&hr=16&min=00&modes=foot&modes=bus Edited August 26, 2018 by euan2020
antidote
You could walk the 500 miles there and back. 😂 I’ll get my coat again 🙄
dandydunn
You’ll have zero chance of getting a taxi. The aecc only allow rainbow taxis to operate from there. The gig & go is the best option by a mile, but expect to wait anything upto an hour to get the bus. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk away from union street, at the very most. Plenty choices after the gig where you want to go, I’m assuming it’s a weekend gig? Just depends what kind of music you want and how much you want to pay for drinks. noyntine 6-6-6
Last time there were special buses from the main drag to the Exhibition Centre (and back). They were good!
Squirrelhumper
Last time I was there for a gig was Oasis. Was a complete pain in arse to get back into city centre. May have changed now though. We got 1-0 off Aberdeen that day too!

About 20 of us headed up from Perth and two of my mates were Dons so we did Pittodrie before the gig.

Sargeant supported them.

When I left the brewdog agm in April, we got on a bus about 9:15pm and got the 3 miles or so at 10pm. It doesn’t help that first Aberdeen bus drivers are complete and utter cunts.
