iainmac1
Call me stupid, but isn't the point of the UK independence party that it's meant to represent the whole of the UK, not just the English part? Britain, England. Same thing remember!
Dave78
More power to UKIP. The more they drive in the wedge from their side of the border, the more likely that Britain...for what it is...is likely to splinter. If we're going down the 'wedge' route, would you be in favour of the SNP changing their policy of not voting on exclusively English issues? Ally Bongo
First impression is that The Tory's could well set us on the road to home rule within the Union as they want the same for England Labour however want to preserve the Union at all costs and are offerering us shite as they realise; 1 Home rule is a step nearer to breaking up the Union 2 Home rule for England lessens the chances of Labour being in power at this moment in time (Obviously not in that order)
Toepoke
Heard about this historical incident recently, Malaysia kicking out Singapore in 1965. Seems to have worked out ok for them.... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singapore_in_Malaysia

Interesting part: There was a shared currency for two years until Singapore launched its own currency and there was talks about a currency union. Lol.
