In the past the Police - and the Met in particular- have been rightly criticised for putting out false or misleading information. I think it's better that they release accurate rather than quick information. I suspect they've actually formally identified very few victims. The number of 80 will most likely in the main be people they can verify were definitely in the tower at the time and are still unaccounted for.
