thplinth
The folks doing The 45 group I can understand but they should think again. Do not be sentimental, inward looking. The 45 is the past. A numerical fact in a lost referendum. Yes is the future. Yes can be anything.

A numerical fact in a lost referendum. Yes is the future. Yes can be anything. A simple stark "45" on a badge is a message for the here and now that says "We're still here". It will fade in time as groups get back together and refocus on what the next steps are. It's not a campaign - it's a statement for today, for next week, for a while. It's a bridge that links until we really know where we're going next.

Make whatever use out of the 45 you can but do not ever forgo YES. It is a gem.

As Westminster inevitably fails to keep its 'vow' and opinion polls reflect Scottish anger so 'Yes' and '45' could become 'YES48', 'YES55' and so on. It would show that the original '45' are indeed reaching out the hand of reconciliation. Edited September 22, 2014 by redstevie007
