  1. Yup indeed I'm well qualified enough to make a complete khunt of it for half that.....
  2. If Doncaster had just done a u-turn upon realising he made a massive error, he might, just might, have got away with it and possibly even earned some credit. However his abominable and arrogant attempt at defending the indefensible prior to making the u-turn (thus making the u-turn nothing other than a complete embarrassment for him and the SPFL) surely now makes his position completely and utterly untenable. This, coupled with the many, many examples of ineptitude and total incompetence means that nobody outside his wee circle of trust can possibly see how he can continue in his role. He has been an abject failure from day 1 and has failed miserably to achieve ANYTHING that a semi-competent CEO of the SPFL should have achieved. He has to go.
  3. The arrogance of this statement is as staggering as it was expected. It's yet another nail in Doncaster's coffin surely? HOW in the name of God has this guy still got a job?
  4. Stuart McCall has come out and backed Hibs' and Hearts' stance saying he thinks it's a poor decision and that all games should be played at the same time. Fair play to him for that. This is a total farce and has brought the SPFL into complete disrepute. Doncaster should be sacked immediately as a result.
  5. Whenever I see the rambling, disgusting, incompetent slug on the telly I just cannot get my head around ANYONE voting for him!
  6. You're right. It's all about the initial impact and the impression it leaves. Most people are lazy and decide what they "know" to be true based on a few seconds headline and nothing more. The suggestion/implication is now out there and few will be bothered about understanding the substance behind the real truth. This kind of journalism was rife during the referendum campaign and it will be rife again for the next few weeks. It's like pissing into a force ten gale.
  7. Could not agree more. Payday lenders are the scourge of the country and should be banned forthwith. Nothing but legalised loan sharks. Pawn shops I don't feel quite so strongly about but they certainly make their money out of others' misery although I guess could be viewed as being slightly less of a blatant profiteering rip off.
  8. What kind of idiot decides to plant such a fixture in the calendar? The people running (and I use the term very loosely) scottish football really do need to take a long hard look at themselves. That is just mental.
  9. Lol,aye I widny fall oot o ma chair if I found out that was the case!
  10. SSC says to wait until you are allocated an official ticket. Not being allocated an official ticket would certainly come under the closed doors scenario. I too would expect the SSC or SFA to lobby on our behalf if this were to pass, however legally we would not have a leg to stand on if we made travel arrangements without having been allocated an official ticket first. All that said, I doubt this will happen - usual lazy journalism at work here.
  11. Am no bothered. It's going to come down to our results and qualification will remain in our own hands whatever the result.
  12. Not a great performance but it was never going to be. Gibraltar had one aim and that was to make it as difficult and awkward as possible to find a way past them. And they did it no bad. Why should they open up and allow us to play? It was up to us to break them down and we did that six times without being anywhere near our best. Normally we struggle to break down poor teams. It was always gonna be a frustrating game to watch and to be honest it panned out about how I expected. Remember we don't have the world class players at our disposal that some countries do, but we worked hard and earned a decent victory without looking like the world beaters that we aren't anyway. A bit of perspective needed here guys. Poor game all round and not pretty but we put two more past them than Germany (who are world beaters) could and realistically could've had a couple more too. I'm disappointed overall too, but it was a no win situation for us. Job done though, three points in the bag and now on to Dublin.
  13. This was widespread. I know of quite a few pensioners who, on the Friday after the vote, were sitting with friends talking about how relieved they were that they'd not be losing their pensions. They were genuinely shitting themselves about how they'd survive if the vote went Yes.Also thousands of Poles in Inverness were called up and told they'd be kicked out if we voted Yes. I always say if you have to resort to lies and scaremongering to win the day then you've lost the argument. For this reason it will soon become clear to everyone that there is no substance whatsoever to the No argument and this will lead to the inevitable. It's just a matter of time before the best efforts of all in the "Establishment" will no longer be enough to stop independence becoming a reality.
  14. Looked nasty. More importantly though, no national anthems were booed and nobody sung any songs with the 'H' word in them. Some people in this country need to get a grip.
  15. For once I think Atkinson had a decent game. Got most decisions, and all the big ones, right. He is a dreadful ref usually, but today he was fine.
  16. Yeah it's about 25 mins slow. Like our defence used to be....
  17. Got there in the end, phew. Had to try about 15 to 20 times but finally got one. Strange system? That was at 12.07 so good luck all who are still plugging away.
  18. I was pretty confident of getting one at three points at 12 today. Totally gutted now.
  19. And only Killie, Dundee, Dundee United and Celtic from that season's top ten...
  20. And the winner of Prediction of the Year (quickest to come true category) goes to.........
