The changing political geography of Europe has certainly not helped. We also used have the advantage of being a long established football nation while others were decades behind us. Unfortunately those decades have now elapsed. That said I totally agree our players should be doing better. We were doing a bit of head scratching last night trying to think of our last player who could have been considered anything near world class. Poor show when you see who similar sized or smaller countries can produce.

Don't have an issue with Celtic's tweet, Scotland and Ireland could still both have been able to progress this weekend.

Lots of really dangerous things look sensational. A lit flare landed on the deck a couple of rows behind us. It was like a blowtorch going off!

We didn't get beat

I experienced both kinds, the guys in front of us were sound, wanted to keep them posted on the Ireland score. Shook hands as I walked out at the equaliser. Least said about the knobs behind us when the first goal went in the better. Wasn't really bothered about flares before but having seen one burning up close tonight they look like pretty dangerous things to be waving around in a crowd. Especially next to kids.

Agreed there was a full blown rammy going on up behind us and no cops anywhere. Worst bother I've witnessed in a Scottish stadium for decades...
