  1. Atleast we've got impact players like Burke on the bench who can come on and make a difference...
  2. Whole thing is so cringey and pathetic.
  3. Most of the above, is p*sh. The sending off gave us the penalty and the second sending off was with about 20 to go. That's not even taking into account the Snodgrass "very good goal" which was completely lucky...
  4. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37608443 pressley sucking off Strachan, saying he's not under pressure and that we don't need to win tomorrow after his scouting mission. give me strength...
  5. A non stubborn/arrogant (Strachan/Levein) type who wanted to play attacking football, picked players more deservedly and was maybe younger and therefore more in touch with modern club fitbaw would be fine...
  6. The Coleman interview afterwards highlighted how arrogant, incorrect and frustrating Strachans post match interview was. When we lose in Slovakia, which I now think we will, his post match interview, which will no doubt be ridiculous again, should and probably will be his last.
  7. Do a bit of research. No they won't be & the infrastructure they have in place for youth development and training is world class. in addition they encourage players to move abroad from 16 which given the state of the SPL is the sort of policy we should also be looking at...
  8. A change of manager, style of play and formation is the only thing that will see the attendance bumped up to what it should be
  9. Awful player for international level. clesrly a different system had to be played last night - what a fu*k up
  10. If we do somehow finish second, we will do so with the least points out of all second placed teams thanks to the two dropped last night. Sick of Strachans tactics, selections and the rubbish he talks after games which is all becoming Levein-esque He can go and hopefully he takes Chris Martin with him...
  11. Yes, if we can have 3 left backs in the squad we then surely need a second right back. Martin can cover there but as you have said he's #1 at centre back for us, so calling up a back up right back is a no brainer when there's two games to be played....
  12. Whenever a Scot moves abroad it makes you follow that teams results more closely. If he's getting a game you want them to do well and in turn he will get better - It's a no brainer to support them for me. If Gauld gets a game at Sporting Lisbon, the same then goes for them too.
  13. Will see how he fares in the Victory shield this year by the sounds of it. Promising stuff and if he's lived in Scotland for 98% of his life, has been developed in a Scottish clubs youth system & Schooled in Scotland and considers himself Scottish then it's a closed book who he will play for surely
  14. He is indeed, the middle of the park is somewhere we are well stocked though so his chances of a game or even a call up for CM at the moment is a bit unlikely probably.
  15. When Ryan Jack broke through I had high hopes he could be good there for us, doesn't seem to have panned out that way
  16. You're off your head if you think Burke shouldn't start
  17. I do. His goals v Holland in the play off and v France in Paris alone would put him in it.
  18. Playing a team ranked 117th in the world at home in a qualifier shouldn't be considered anything other than a must win for any team ranked in the worlds top 100. Strachan is a neep.
  19. Liam Burt (Rangers) and Calum MacDonald (Derby) called up as Chris Cadden and Liam Smith are out with injury Not very aware of Calum MacDonald, yet another left back prospect?
  20. Hmmmm fletcher's 100 goals are mainly in the EPL. Mackie's are against the likes of Falkirk and Kilmarnock!
  21. He's 6'2 and built like the gable end of a crisp, hardly a giant! Has potential nonetheless...
  22. SQUAD: Goalkeepers ... Ryan Fulton (Liverpool, on loan to Chesterfield) Mark Hurst (St Johnstone) Defenders ... Kyle Cameron (Newcastle United, on loan to Newport County) Alex Iacovitti (Nottingham Forest, on loan to Mansfield Town) Zak Jules (Reading) Jordan McGhee (Heart of Midlothian, on loan to Middlesbrough) Jake Sheppard (Reading) Liam Smith (Heart of Midlothian, on loan to Raith Rovers) Midfielders ... Chris Cadden (Motherwell) Greg Docherty (Hamilton Academical) Liam Henderson (Celtic) James Jones (Crewe Alexandra) Aidan Nesbitt (Celtic, on loan to Greenock Morton) Ruben Sammut (Chelsea) Craig Storie (Aberdeen) Forwards ... Ryan Hardie (Rangers, on loan to St Mirren) Oliver McBurnie (Swansea City) Craig Wighton (Dundee)
  23. So did Calvin Miller - Best player in the world in his age group a couple of years back (won some award for that I am sure) Would love to see more of these guys get a shot like Tierney has.
  24. Aitchison looked a talent when he came on and scored at the end of last season. Will he even get into a squad this season? Agree - These boys probably won't really get a sniff. You look at clubs in Holland for example; Ajax regularly take through 5,6 sometimes even 10 boys per season, sell them on after a bit of game time, or keep them for the first team & this gives Holland a regular stream of players playing first team football from 16-18 within their own country.
  25. What was the lineup v Portugal? Anyone got a squad link?
