  1. I just don't get Kenny McLean. Never impressed me at Aberdeen.and that was against Thistle.
  2. Marshall O'Donnell Mulgrew McKenna Robertson McGregor McTominay Forrest Armstrong Fraser Russell Keep back 5. 2 DM who have mobility to break forward and pass. Want Armstrong in to carry team up the park. The attacking 3 are my biggest concern. Feel Forrest and Fraser are running on empty. Our #9. Brophy did nothing but the had no service. Burke scored but i just don't get him, like an overdeveloped Theo Walcott who runs to dead ends. Russell has mobility and is fresher due to MLS season.
  3. I would heartily recommend a day out in Antwerp. Superb place.
  4. That was genuinely one of the worst home games I have seen in a long time. Imagine McLeish had been in charge of that and the reaction? I much preferred our home performances versus Albania and Israel than that. We really missed Fletcher to hold the ball up, Christie to break forward and Armstrong to carry the team up the pitch. No threat through the middle. Poor crossing, so many lazy lobs or dinks with not enough men in the box. This low block against inferior teams will not impress the home support. Our 2 best players were our full backs. We got lucky. Positives. Obviously a lot of positivity to Clarke appointment. O'Donnel far better than Palmer at RB. Robertsons goal was even better on tv than live. We snatched victory from the jaws of ehm draw. We won! Other thoughts are the June internationals should be scrapped as some players finished 2 or 3 weeks ago. Forrest and Fraser looked leggy. Also went to North Stand for 1st time in years so the roaster level was x10 with slabbering jakies out on their stag do days out instead of caring about the actual game. I was right at the back of the stand with constant chatter of steamers on their mobiles talking to mates in the pub. Was tough for kids too. All these "real fans standing" was blocking their views which is a real shame and SFA need to sort that out.
  5. This may help. You pay but less hassle. https://www.justpark.com/
  6. Too many people used to watching football on tv in their house.
  7. ------------------------------Bain---------------------------- O'Donnell-----Souttar----McKenna-----Robertson McTominay-----------McGregor ------Forrest---------------McGinn------------Fraser------ Russell I'd have Mulgrew in normally but he's been injured recently. Bain worries me. GK is quite weak now. Armstrong could replace McTominay.
  8. Or you could say it continued the tradition of voters not voting to make themselves poorer. Canny Scots. (Brexit was a change to this tradition.)
  9. From my experience Londoners of any background, class, colour, ethnicity etc would describe themselves as British over English. But it's a melting pot so someone could call themselves as British, English and Nigerian for example due to family background.
  10. To me that is London. It's not an English city. It's definitely a British city with so many people from all over the UK attracted to it. It's also an international city only rivalled by New York.
  11. Wait a minute are we liking London now? For years and years that London has been slagged. Scots on here who choose to move to "hell" and benefit would highlight their Scottishness to ensure they had not went native. Now we are celebrating it's youth, multiculturalism, liberalism and "get up and go". An interesting change.

    The Weemin

Good atmosphere. Loads of kids. No steam boats. No roasters. Much more family friendly than the mens team. 3 good goals. Hopefully they make Hampden a regular event.
  13. If you are a member of the Supporters Club you'd have got an email.
  14. It's family friendly with enough space for them to wander about. No hassle getting to game as you are right at stadium. I'd recommend it.
  15. Love the appointment. He has authority, conducts himself well, teams organised, improves players, challenges teams with greater resources and has experience in handling players far bigger than Scotland has at the moment. Ditch your musty pipers jackets. Its all about the Steve Clarke shirt, tie and jumper combo for real fans. Commiserations to Killie fans though. He challenged the Old Firm and his record with Gerrard and Rodgers was very good.
  16. I was there mid 1990's. I remember you. Big guy. Wearing a kilt. Drinking whisky. Shouting about how you loved Scotland. Wow.
  17. Even though I've bought a season ticket I'm happy for them to lower prices or offer deals via itison to get a crowd in.
  18. Tough luck about your court case v Kez
  19. Try this? https://liftshare.com/uk Or just get a cheap room for night and travel next day.
  20. A superb player. Gained 50+ caps and in Hall of Fame. Qualification Group for Euro 2008 was the most fun I have had as a fan. Walter Smith got us started and McLeish pushed on. Despite failing game v Italy still gives me goose bumps and a lump in my throat. Got us in Nations League Play Offs. Georgia, Ukraine, France, Italy, Albania, Israel home were all amazingly exciting games. France away 2007 "c'est magnifique"
  21. I voted Steve Clarke but he wont make us exciting. We'll be organised, well drilled, more confident and difficult to beat. Lennon speaks well on the game and did well at Hibs. He'd make us more exciting and attacking. But what a weapon. Someone like Walter Smith or Gordon Strachan may not be liked but is respected by many on opposite side of Old Firm. He has a lot of baggage and feel he would divide the support.
  22. Has anyone been involved in raising £ for a footballer? Kris Doolan been 10 years at Thistle, 123 goals, a professional and a gentleman. It's his testimonial year with a few events on but wondering if people had positive experiences of raising cash. https://krisdoolan.com/about
  23. It's still here. Just took my kids to the park. Proud but gone. Like the Young Pretender.
