I suppose Berra has been consistently excellent for Hearts this season you come to expect it from him whereas the likes of Randall, Smith, Milinkovic, Cochrane and Lafferty probably had their best games in a Hearts jersey so far.
Are you basing that opinion on the photo or the video?
Given the nonsense the likes of Lafferty and griffiths are subjected to I don’t mind them giving a bit back.
Don’t think so to be honest, Levein had said to me a few months ago he was very excited about the youth team players but injuries to Djoum, Walker and a few others have forced his hand to bring them in a bit sooner than he would have liked.
As much as Cochrane was excellent today he has looked too lightweight in other games especially the Rangers game at Murrayfield.
Be interesting how they fare over the next three games with visits to McDiarmid and Pittodrie as well as the Edinburgh derby before the break.
Tremendous afternoon at Tynecastle, thought 16 year old Cochrane was excellent and Levein got his tactics spot on.
Had joked about putting hearts -1 at 28/1 and hearts -2 at 100/1 on at work on Friday 😂
From chatting to Craig Levein a few months ago he said McDonald was the best youngster he had ever worked with and was talking up Chris Hamilton, Marc Leonard as well as Cochrane and Henderson who had already broke through.
Nice to see them taking their chances to shine in the first team.
not a fan of Murrayfield either, just as bad as Hampden for trying to get away from near the ground by bus and car going by the Aberdeen and Rangers games.
Not sure John Souttar is ready yet although the difference in the last six months in tremendous, learning off two experienced international centre halves Berra and Hughes. More and more confident with the ball at his feet and was even taking the corners on Saturday (and putting in better balls than Walker and Cowie have all season)
From speaking to Craig Levein yesterday he is raving about the youth programme at Hearts and how it is back on track now. Also great to see teenagers Cochrane, Henderson and Brandon having such a positive impact on Saturday.
yet they manage 67,000 at murrayfield and 17,000 at Tynecastle which as you know are within a stones throw of each other on the same afternoon?
I agree the national stadium should be in Glasgow though
First heard of him with when i went one of his buses in Portugal and then the problems seemed to follow on when i was in Malta and Slovakia. Had a few run ins with him on facebook which resulted in a series of personal messages which i have saved for future reference should i need them.
Aye, he is not quite right.
Robbie Neilson chose to leave to go to MK Dons
Gary Locke had reached the end of his contract and it wasn't renewed, He was told this by Budge on the same day she hired Levein and Neilson.
Still waiting to find out who the second manager sacked was
