Flure
I've got someone asking for a recommendation for a B&B on Harris? I could look up some websites, but I'd rather have a personal recommendation to pass on.

Flure
I'd recommend they went to Skye instead. LOL. Actually, they're going to Harris for a couple of days AFTER they've spent a week in a luxury self-catering cottage on Skye.
Coggs
JD, Send Ali Martin a message on Facebook (or I suppose Albanach on here). He'll know the best b&b's in South Lewis for your friends. Edited January 18, 2015 by Coggs

ALBANACH
Enough of your sacrilege Coggs! My mates mother runs Tigh Na Mara in Tarbert and always heard good reviews about it. Ceol Na Mara is also good I believe. Not much sure about other places, if they want beach on their doorstep then anywhere down the west coast. Scarista House would be one of the best but very expensive.
Goozay
Not a B&B but a friend of mine has built a bothy by their house which they rent out. I've not been yet but its on my list as the photies look amazing! http://www.laalbothy.co.uk/#/about/4574354601
Huddersfield
I stayed a few nights at Avalon just outside Tarbert which was a great little spot & better value than either the Hebrides Hotel or the Harris Hotel (IMHO).
EddardStark
Recommend Ceol na Mara Guest House. Superb location .

G-Man
Try this: http://www.laalbothy.co.uk/ or google <<laal bothy harris>> Beautiful, they've obviously worked hard on it. I love the double bunk bed. Bookmarked it for future reference.

Eh I didn't get that at all. Mrs Grim got all excited though and wants to stay there. Stunning! Oh, and I'm on top apparently

Oh, and I'm on top apparently edited as I just realised you meant you didn't get the concept and I thought you meant you didn't see it. I just loved it as bunk beds are a childhood thing but here you have the benefit of reliving childhood but stretching out too. ?Hope you realise Mrs Grim means, you're on top but not in a good way. ?
