DoonTheSlope
After beating Ireland on Friday we have achieved what most people would have predicted and settled for before a ba' wiz kicked in September. If all goes well and we beat England on Tuesday, in years to come will you be more likely to say "I was there when we beat Ireland" or "I was there when we beat England!!" I'd be more likely to say the latter. Don't get me wrong, I'd've snapped your hand off for 3 points on Friday if it meant not winning a friendly on Tuesday. Now we have a generation off fans who've never experienced beating or playing England along with never having been to a finals The $FA know this and that's why they have us bent over letting them pump us right up the jeer with their prices
PASTA Mick
In years to come we won't be talking about either of these matches. We'll be talking about being in France. Or the play-offs. Or a dodgy decision which means we finish 4th.
Graham of Montrose
I'd have taken a 0-10 on Tuesday a 1-0 on Friday. Suppose I'm half way there !!!
