For me we should start with a strong team against the Netherlands to gauge where we stand:-

Not sure you can make 11 changes in friendlies anymore, it's been six for quite a while

 

Against Netherlands, I'd like to see Gilmour given a chance against better opposition

Gordon; Hendry, Hanley, Tierney; O'Donnell, Gilmour, McGregor, Robertson; Armstrong, McGinn; Dykes

 

Against Luxembourg, keep the same system but change the XI

Marshall; Gallagher, Cooper, McKenna; Patterson, McTominay, Fleck, Taylor; Christie, Fraser; Adams

Forrest, Turnbull, Nisbet and McLaughlin to get 45 minutes against Luxembourg at the very least.

Nisbet, and the three new uncapped players need some minutes. Coming on for a debut in the EURO's is a big ask, although does one or two caps really make a difference....I doubt it but I want them to have some game time to atleast show their ability to give the coaching staff a better look when they decide their starting line ups.

I'd start with this team v Holland and change Mcgochlan for Marshall,  turnbull for Mcginn,  Taylor for Robertson (also move tiernay to LWB) O'donnell for Paterson Mcgregor for Gilmour,  Turnbull for Mcgill,  Adams for Christie, Dykes for Nisbet for Luxemborg.
