exile Posted October 5, 2014 Share Posted October 5, 2014 What is notable is that there is still virtually no acknoweldgement from the Westminster parties or London media that there was anything untoward about this. (With the honourable exception of the George Monbiot article in the Guardian) The Telegraph was openly airing the suggestion that the monarch should jolly well intervene to save the union. Just shows you what they are prepared to do, to act dirty when necessary, the supposed Establishment were prepared to contemplate the Queen doing something unconstitutional, just because for once they were in danger of not getting their way.
