  1. Yes, cheers Jimmy. Thanks for your efforts; you and the "core".
  2. Despite the y-axis title, that 22C is not the average temperature of the whole "globe" is it? If that's us back on topic, do the FEs explain the different angles of the light/shadow on a half moon at different latitudes? I remember being blown away by the moon on my only visit to the tropics. "Shit it's fallen over!"
  3. Cheers. On steam radio here. Hopefully just a wee strain before damage.
  4. Ha! Just had a rummage and I own that track. It's the live Once In A Lifetime version. I skipped putting it on my MP3 collection, so I must have thought it was mince. Fickle and contrary me
  5. OK, they invite the cringe a bit and as mentioned, some music snobbery. I get that. That's not a song I know, perhaps because it's early (I came to them on Heartland), but it has the feel of the wind swirling around at half time on a floodlit game with hope still in it. Are ye cringin' now? I don't care. I love that feeling.
  6. FYI on my case for anyone else affected. Got refund for the cancelled flight, but waiting for the compensation. Seems I'm not due expenses (eg. extra night in hotel & 1st available flights with Easyjet) since I did not re-book with Ryanar. Got an apology today with €40 Ryanair vouchers to be spent in October.
  7. Thanks. I'm now stalking Diana Fuentes on YouTube. Love the way she rolls her Rs.
  8. Heck, I'm gonna have to think up some tunes for the relaunch You have until November to find a happy song. Even Halleluja is miserable
  9. Don't know what's worse. Putting so much effort in, just to wind us up.
  10. Plus its low wage, zero hours contract, need to be fit by bike (drumlins!) and long, late hours. One firm just closed in Glasgow this week & their folk got papped with no notice. They won't get the money back they had to pay for their kit either I bet.
  11. I see the NASA earth pics as what would fill your field of view from different altitudes. From a low orbit, you would only see a part of a continent, but be able to see more from half way to the moon (The real one, not your just-out-of-reach CD or whatever.) Experiment: Take a photo of a globe from far away and from very close up (wide angle lens to fit it in), then resize the pictures to make the globes in the pictures the same diameter. You misunderstood me... I don't believe the canal is higher in the middle; Your original video makes the claim that water would be uphill in the middle it is if the earth is a ball, along with railway lines. It's the same erroneous point about having to point about having to point the airplane nose down to keep it level. Airplanes fly straight- and-level over the globe due to gravity.
  12. Didn't have a stopwatch on it, but the journey felt longer than the trains. I've only used them to & from the Malta game and there was almost no queuing when I boarded, but there will be a heck of a lot more folk at the next game. ...which will add to the train queues too of course.
  13. Oops, a new one now targeted? I think a warning is due to Admin for abuse Obviously now Tartan Army Message Bored.
  14. Two bands best known in the 90s in Glasgow this coming Tuesday. I've chosen Living Colour over Bush just to go to the smaller venue. Sorry to miss the latter. Got Mastadon at the Barras in December. Last time they were there I overdid it with the Jaeger A great night though.
  15. So it's Putin that has been causing us to distrust our media Bassa!
