  1. Sorry Stapes, had to laugh. Was very fond of my wee hamster as a lad. You have me worried that we buried wee Sandy in the garden before he was deid now
  2. Sorry, but mistaken 100,000 with poor drainage... what % had a drink or two before the game? I remember the bogs in the North Stand as a lad (13 goin' on 11 by today's). I didn't have to stretch up to a urinal (what the feck was that?) or even a stainless steel trough. Was a brick wall with a 1/2 inch deep trench/spittoon at its bottom. The pish ran over the top of my shiny Clarks shoes and on down the stairs. Them wiz the days
  3. I just skip over them... tête-à-tête (ˌteɪtəˈteɪt) n, pl -têtes or -tête 1. a. a private conversation between two people b. (as modifier): a tête-à-tête conversation. 2. (Furniture) a small sofa for two people, esp one that is S-shaped in plan so that the sitters are almost face to face adv intimately; in private
  4. Showing off how auld I am, I think the Rangers three did play in the first Scotland game my dad took me to, and that was '69. It's all a bit vague as I was wee, but pretty sure we did a couple of N.I games and didn't win either, which places them at '69 & '71 and think I remember Stein scoring. Game was on the telly, so mibbee my memories are jumbled again. Can't say I remember anyone for us being great, just remember the frustration, so not much has changed despite the loss of world class players
  5. Schedule updated on here... https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/scotland-v-costa-rica-and-hungary-ticket-information/?rid=13925
  6. Anyone know where the points table is now?
  7. Estonia recently did a tour of Fiji, Vanatu and New Caledonia.
  8. I remember I helped push a BMW to get it going in a frozen car park downhill. Bugger just sat on the spot wagging its tail.
  9. Couldn't argue with that. Can't remember who the foreign manager(?) was that said Scots would cheer a tackle. He probably watched McGrain as well, 'cause we certainly did.
  10. Probably not that you desperately want into Jamie Lee's pants, and not that you wish you were an arrogant English c***, but probably that you want to be the most British-English character he can think of.
  11. Thanks for the updates folks.
  12. Maybe the HSC has 22,000 members.
  13. This might be why I didn't get an email. I'd better activate it. I won't use twatter or faceplant. Then again, this is blank too....
  14. When a BA flight had a failure in my case, they bus'ed me from Glasgow to Edinburgh to get me onto another flight. That involved a transfer in another airport, but they paid me expenses for the stopover. (My only problem then was my I Love Sweden t-shirt in Denmark ) Admittedly, that was a couple of years ago; before O'Leary gobbed in my pint.
  15. Not a wind up? Hopefully just an initial allocation. Once 8+ pointers get theirs us mortals can have a dip at the next batch. No emails to survey likely attendance? If they have a handle on these things now, they must know we will take more. Or are Hungarians desperate to see their team and the temporary stadium's too wee.
  16. I take it you don't mean me as I didn't expect business class. I don't however expect to be shafted at any price. And it was a lot more than £60.
  17. Got to win our division to make the play-offs. That will still be an easier route than normal qualification as starting in pot 3 will be tough, and as for pot4...
  18. Are you, by any chance, ginger?
  19. Looks like I've missed out on Temperance Movement at the Barras this time; sold out. Likewise Myles Kennedy who I didn't know was doing a solo tour. Not heard his album yet, so don't know if I'm missing out. His early appearances were better than most recent ones with Alter Bridge. The new TM album sounds good to on 1st listen though.
  20. Hope so! For once we will have booked up in the right city. Was struggling with Jerusalem given that the game will finish late at night and both Sammy Ofer and Teddy seem to be away from the centres.
  21. Hanging on by fingernails. Need a steal here.
