Passport Travel were great for us getting started on this road, but we moved on doing our own thing. They even organised middle of the night pick-ups to get to the airport, and when Paris was seriously disrupted by some march or something, the guys went around the stadium after the game with a placard to collect people for the mystery bus location. I don't think they lost a soul, (but mind a WESTA bus leaving Easter Road without someone. I presume they didn't want to be found).

My dad used to take me to a few games. The only Home Internationals though, were against Northern Ireland. I think it was because he wanted to see George Best. I don't think he ever turned up, but Law was there! We did catch an ageing Eusebio in a friendly, so he was the starstruck one. ...Possibly because (before my time), he was sick in bed with flu holding a ticket for the Real vs Frankfurt game and missed it ☹️ Re. Gibraltar, I was on the way to that game and was thinking that we might see the first Scotland hat-trick since Colin Stein. "Damn me, if it happens, I'll be headin' back to the Pot Still for a 25 year old dram!" No disrespect to Gibraltar; it had been feckin' decades 😄 Barman couldn't find the bottle though 🙈

To See Ourselves was only aired in full (1 hour?) once on YouTube. I think Jane is now hoping a broadcaster will pick it up, but she also mentioned editing on an even longer, serialised version. It did start slow and grim for me, but I got into it.

Doubly glad I stay away from Twitter & Facebook! Was pretty stressful, and some folk will have missed out on some or all tickets they wanted. Am grateful to be going to my first away finals and perhaps my last. Even then just for what is looking like just one very quick week for 2 games. Just think of the carnage though if we get through the group 😄

Have you thought of going as foot passengers from Hull to Rotterdam and getting trains?

We held off as well, but come the draw prices rose again. I'm no help sorry, but also flying from Newcastle to Frankfurt for the Switzerland/Hungary games, and got no bargain either.
