  1. We lost a Scottish Football legend, remember it well. I went to Cardiff as a fresh faced 19 year old on the Kings Park / Castlemilk supporters bus. RIP Mr Stein !!
  2. Going by reports and stadium seating plan, game is now a complete 52,000 sell out 👍
  3. I honestly think we underachieved at the Euros (also turned out we where in a much tougher group than perhaps thought), I think we have a decent squad, who quite clearly get on like a club side and buy into the managers plans. We can be too cautious at times i'd say, but i'm not too concerned overall, we have the makings of a cracking starting 11 .
  4. Dreadfully evil disease, very close to home, best of wishes Denis Law, hope all your family have the understanding & patience that they will need and that you deserve !!
  5. The seating plan is misleading mate - half the seats haven't even been released yet (unfortunately)
  6. Most politicians (particularly Tories) who start of answering a question with, So. 🤑
  7. Ticket sales very slow so far for this game, hopefully be a lot more interest as we get closer to the game ?
  8. Aye heard that - hopefully we shift all the tickets for the Moldova game !!
  9. Saturday was the first i've seen him in the flesh - absolutely dreadful, don't know why Danny Lennon signed him, he played him as the main striker & moved David Goodwillie (the best striker in the country outwith the premier league) out wide to accommodate him, utterly baffling.
  10. Seating Arrangements: Home supporters will be seated at the North end of the Main Stand, whilst away supporters will be seated in the South end. The central section of the Main Stand will be closed as this area is required to seat substitutes and backroom staff of both teams. Kiosks: There will be no food and drink kiosks open for this game. Fans are permitted to bring snacks and drinks, but these must be placed into paper cups before entry. Bottles need to be opened in front of stewards. Restrictions: Strict social distancing precautions are in place inside the stadium. Please make sure you sit within your own household bubble keeping 4 seats and 1 row away from others. When moving around the stadium please keep a 1 metre distance from others. Follow all instructions from stewards and staff on the day. Face coverings are mandatory inside the stadium and should not be removed during the match. The Clyde View: Issue 3 of the club's award-winning matchday programme will be on sale, priced at £3. Not been to a home match since March 2020 - The above is a fuckn joke, no kiosks, wear a fuckn mask during the match, it's a Clyde game FFS, way over the top IMO, still going though and i'll bet the vast majority remove their face masks 👍
  11. Utter fucking nonsense, it's a football game FFS, not a political rally.
  12. Why does that not surprise me
  13. Our last opening game victory was at Spain WC 1982 - We beat New Zealand 5-2, lost the middle game to one of the best ever Brazilian sides, and drew with USSR (a game we needed to (and should have) won, I was 16 that world cup, cant believe i'm 55 now.
  14. Always remember him saying in some old TV programme from the 1980's that him & Kenny (Dalglish) where great mates & loved playing together, only difference was that " I (Souness) regard myself as British & He (Dalglish) regards himself as Scottish"
  15. Ah !! the bold Charlie, (I have mentioned this on here a few times over the years), he really could and should have been a superstar for his clubs and country, more natural talent than all his Scottish peers at the time (McCoist / Johnston / McAveney etc etc) put together, was he not out of the tournament by the time of the Uruguay game ? having been injured in the first game (Denmark)
  16. The part i have bolded and underlined could be a real problem, politicians and police would need to be on top of the potential aftermath.
  17. Cheers TP - Stunning, Carl Sagan was spot on when he referred to our planet as the pale blue dot, we are so tiny and insignificant in the vastness of the Universe (so vast that it could be teaming with life and no one would ever realise) MENTAL !!
  18. There is a photo somewhere out there he took whilst alone, of the lunar rover, the moons surface and of our planet Earth, at that instance, that moment in time, every single living human being in the entire universe was in that image, except him !! pretty amazing when you actually think about it
  19. Aye he had a belter of a combover - he really should (& could) have played at a much higher level
  20. Have seen some cracking players playing for The Clyde, (At their best, not at the end of their careers) Stevie Archibald, Dom Sullivan & Pat Nevin. However the best player to ever pull on a Clyde shirt was Brian Ahern, cracking player and should have played at a much higher level.
