  1. What did Hootenanny used to be called years ago? We used to go there before going to Penelope's (which is now the classic grand). Edit: Fat Boab's was it?
  2. We'll agree to disagree then. You like your footballers to be singers and I like mine to be footballers who play well for Scotland. Each to their own
  3. Couldn't care less that you missed a game. I just don't think you should be accusing our players of not having national pride, for simply not singing, when you didn't bother going yourself.
  4. Aye you're right, if he had sang along he would have played even better. Probably have scored a couple of goals too. And national pride? But rich coming from someone who didn't bother going to the game and sat on here slagging one of our players instead.
  5. He's a footballer, not an X factor contestant. He also had a very good game last night. That's all that matters to me.
  6. I agree. If you can't let club issues go for 90 mins then internationals aren't for you. That being said, I do find it slightly amusing that the complainants are the same group who used to congregate in the west stand booing Celtic players (who were some of the best in Europe at the time) and singing the sash.
  7. Absolutely. At the risk of sounding like an Uber, I have never ever bought a ticket for a Celtic or Scotland game based on the the opposition was. I'd pay the same to watch us play San Marino as I would Brazil or France. 20 for tonight is actually pretty good to see us play a competitive game so hopefully we get a good turn out. The Monday factor will obviously mean many can't make it but for those who can then I hope they will.
  8. We've all been there. Few too many, trash your own gaff and have one of your moronic pals put it all over the internet. Can't see the problem here.
  9. Is it? Ended up going to Park Lane anyway
  10. Yip. Cunts who boo Scotland players shouldn't be going to internationals.
  11. Yet we sold out Celtic park at nearly double the price for a friendly a few years ago. 20 quid would have been fairer but hey ho
  12. Courtyard for a few cheap pints tonight I think. Handy for Glasgow central.
  13. If we played the game in Brussels then half the cunts who are saying how they can't be bothered with it would be posting all sorts of drivel about X amount of sleeps to go in "Ted's pre match party" thread.
  14. Why are you buying a ticket for Albania v Israel?
  15. That is pish but people from Ayshire and Renfrewshire would be faced with the same problems if they moved to Murrayfield. It's something Abello or whatever they're called should be looking to address.
  16. I stay in Renfrewshire so obviously have no experience of this. What's the main issue, trains not running late enough?
  17. Good man. We had been trying to sort this without much luck
  18. Like being near my family and friends too much to leave. Wish we had better weather and weren't part of the union but other than that I love living here.
  19. You either don't think he's an alcoholic, or just don't consider that an illness.
  20. I think Cathcart is the stop before Mount Florida. Went to a pub near there after the Costa Rica game. The queue at MF always looks a lot worse than it is. It moves pretty quickly but you do have to sit and listen to people from the east coast with their shite patter/accents for about 20 minutes or so, so can't blame anyone for looking for an alternative to that. There's also crosshill, Queens park and kings park all close by, and for those that are able to then the walk to the town centre is fine as well.
  21. My son joined for the first time this year and had his sent out along with mine so won't be anything to do with you being a new member. I usually just show my passport on the very rare occasion we are asked to collect away tickets over there.
