  1. Just read that if Nottingham Forest get promoted, Aberdeen get around 1 million as part of Scott McKenna transfer agreement at the time. Would be a nice little bonus for them.
  2. That is what the board is for mate, having our own opinions. Sadly some of the usual suspects cannot accept this and think it is big to join forces. I used to post a bit but cannot be arsed with the usual bollocks, although once the Scotland games get going I will prob change my mind.
  3. Ted Hanley banged up for two years for sexual assault. Got to wonder if this is not the first time?
  4. A woman was at her hairdresser's getting her hair styled for a trip to Rome with her husband.. She mentioned the trip to the hairdresser, who responded: " Rome ? Why would anyone want to go there? It's crowded and dirty.. You're crazy to go to Rome .. So, how are you getting there?" "We're taking BA," was the reply. "We got a great rate!" "BA?" exclaimed the hairdresser.. " That's a terrible airline. Their planes are old, their flight attendants are ugly, and they're always late. So, where are you staying in Rome ?" "We'll be at this exclusive little place over on Rome 's Tiber River called Teste." "Don't go any further. I know that place. Everybody thinks it’s gonna be something special and exclusive, but it's really a dump." "We're going to go to see the Vatican and maybe get to see the Pope." "That's rich," laughed the hairdresser. You and a million other people trying to see him. He'll look the size of an ant. Boy, good luck on this lousy trip of yours. You're going to need it..." A month later, the woman again came in for a hairdo. The hairdresser asked her about her trip to Rome "It was wonderful," explained the woman, "not only were we on time in one of BA's brand new planes, but it was overbooked, and they bumped us up to first class. The food and wine were wonderful, and I had a handsome 28-year-old steward who waited on me hand and foot. And the hotel was great! They'd just finished a £5 million remodelling job, and now it's a jewel, the finest hotel in the city. They too, were overbooked, so they apologized and gave us their owner's suite at no extra charge!" "Well," muttered the hairdresser, "that's all well and good, but I bet you didn't get to see the Pope." "Actually, we were quite lucky, because as we toured the Vatican, a Swiss Guard tapped me on the shoulder, and explained that the Pope likes to meet some of the visitors, and if I'd be so kind as to step into his private room and wait, the Pope would personally greet me. Sure enough, five minutes later, the Pope walked through the door and shook my hand! I knelt down and he spoke a few words to me" "Oh, really! What'd he say ?" He said: "Who the F*** did your hair?"
  5. Betfred actually closed my account without telling me, I tried to sign in one day and it would not accept my password. Anyway on talking to someone in chat I was told I had not sent any up to date documents. When I told them I had not been asked to do this, I was then told the decision had been made and it was final. ( Shocking way to treat customers). I normally use Hills or Ladbrokes as you get a price boost sometimes and also best odds on horse racing.
  6. Might save Lampard from the sack for a while. Man Utd are a shambles.
  7. No doubt that hat having him in the team is great for his all round play and goal threat. Looking back a few players not mentioned would be Billy Bremner, Paul McStay and Gordon Strachan who were all excellent players for us. Also a mention to wee Archie for his all round work rate and that goal v Netherlands.
  8. I agree! You either stand to make or lose a fortune depending if Scotland make it. Going to be a nervous wait 🤨
  9. Poland beat Sweden 2-0 tonight and Austria are a decent side so not all bad. I am sure Clarke will have seen for himself what we need to work on.
  10. It is Fraser's fault and tbh we have been doing fine without him.
  11. He has had goods saves, good game so far.
  12. True, we all what Gordon can do. Hopefully Brown will get a decent run out in the second half.
  13. While Bale can be very good, we have the likes of Robertson and Paterson down the flanks and McGinn has been great for us lately, to name but a few. Take care of Ukraine first and concentrate on our strengths if we get through.
  14. Disappointing performance last night, gave ball away in midfield and at the back so many times. Stopped watching at 2-0 down.
  15. Heard this one on popmaster the other day ( even remembered the name,😀). Used to hear it played at Northern all nighters.
  16. Don't know about others but my post was 100% sincere and they find a way out of this.
  17. Not just about one old guy suffering, but thousands if not millions have been affected No home, no jobs, innocent children dying, the list is endless yet some people on here want to get one over someone else by way of posts. I don't think we ever forget previous wars, conflicts or attacks but the evil still seems to be worse than ever. Hopefully sooner or later the peace talks might take some affect but I certainly won't hold my breath.
  18. Good to get the players together, hopefully get a decent crowd.
  19. Yes some people🙄 certainly do need to get a grip.
