  1. Barry Bannan is a decent midfielder but no where near International Class and with the current plethora of Midfield talent at our disposal will never be selected again!
  2. 100% agree Can only be this starting XI unless of course Faddie fancies a run oot.......
  3. That’s good enough for me! Why oh why is he not selected??
  4. Jordan Rhodes ends a run of 10 league games without a goal - has scored 27 goals more than any player at @SkyBetChamp level since Aug 2012 102 J.Rhodes 75 R.McCormack 71 D.Murphy
  5. Arrive into ‘Tel Aviv - Ben Gurion’ at 23:35 this evening Tues 9th on the BA167 from LHR and meeting one other Footsoldier who also arrives at 23:35 from Antalya-Turkey on a Pegasus flight. If anyone on similar flights or times, could split a taxi into Town to catch last orders🍻🥃🍺
  6. Very late notice, but looking for x2 seats on the bus if possible Cheers
  7. For me, how can S.Fletcher start ahead of J.Rhodes ? Rhodes is keeping Fletcher on the bench and scoring goals
  8. Would that dislike because he has tattoo's ?? Also what does Strachan have against 1. Jordan Rhodes and 2. Ross McCormack It all seems strange why he is our No.1 Striker
  9. Scotland to see out a nervy 2-1 on Thursday night and the Irish to run out of Luck the same evening Scotland 2 Poland 1 Ireland 1 Germany 3 Leaving Poland & Ireland to fight it out for 2nd place on Sunday night Scoreline between them 2 is irrelevant I think Sunday night ( to us I mean, we can't finish 2nd so it doesn't matter ) We'll beat Gibraltar, just a question of how many
  10. Fit Healthy Confident & hopefully a good run with Everton before Poland game please S.Fletcher to take the bench please !
  11. If Ireland win tonight and we lose tonight ( without looking at table ) where does that leave us ?
  12. The Fat Lady isn't even on the stage yet ! C'mon Scotland - we can still do this Glass still half full
  13. Have thought this for some time now & as the initial post, he is extremely poor IMO Scored against Gibraltar, oh wow ?! Has nice touches and in fairness does link up well But let's answer the question, he doesn't put the ball in the net - the very job he's employed to do !! Is he rank rotten as mentioned? well he's doing a good job of it ?
  14. Not at our best yesterday but enough to keep the Irish out of reach! One thing from being over there, how many Irish thought/think they are a better team than Scotland - WTF Had to bite my tongue on several occasions from saying, who the f**k do you think you's are?? Seriously, some of them thought a given right to win yesterday due to having better players all over the park
  15. ^^^ As above Keep the Faith Troops In Gord we Trust
  16. Not much between the twa teams!! What will favour Scotland is Ireland having to open up & come have a go, that's where I hope Scotland can exploit them and gut them like a fish........ Pace and putting to them sword is what I wish for
  17. So how many Irish players out injured or not featuring / getting 1st team football ?
  18. Bottom line, initial thoughts were to stay where we are but opinions have swayed and would say 75/25 in favour of going up! Not sure where Chairmans stance is now? However I'm firmly in the stay where we are camp, I'm not a defeatist just a realist. Let's be honest Scottish Football Div1 & Div2 is dire, the prospect of Brora having to travel vast distances is not really sustainable? x2 away games every season to Berwick Annan Clyde Queens Park is murder and the chances are some will be midweek And before anyone says Brora voted for this pyramid system, Regan backed the 17 out of the 18 HFL clubs into a corner to vote for this unfortunately, bully boy proposal tactics from him 100% Vote No & they will form a new Highland Division, where teams would not be eligible for Scottish Cup & Petrofac Cup ! Doesn't sound much but HFL teams rely on all the income they can. And another thing Brora's population approx 1500 & 60 miles North of Inverness - geographically it doesn't add up. In a word, I wish to stay where we are thank-you
  19. Will live with me to the day I die, leaving St. Etienne 1998 ! Not so much being knocked out the World Cup, but the niavity of me for thinking that Tokyo would be a given ;( Singing Tokyo, Tokyo - we're the famous Tartan Army and we're off to Tokyo as we flooded out of stadium 18 months on & Craigy Broon takes us to Brussels in a do or die game against Belgium ! Hopes were high, singing 'Hey Baby' for what felt like most of the first half only for us to lose out in the end ;( And then knowing another 4years would have to wait Not afraid to say that I shed a tear leaving that evening ;((
  20. 17/18 votes Yes however I think most of the Clubs voted more in Fear of Regan setting up a Highland division where the winners embraced promotion into the Lower ranks of League football !! And those who didn't vote would no longer be affiliated to the SFA I'm led to believe?!
  21. John Young is a very decent guy ! He was just being honest when voicing his opinion on wether Brora Rangers would flourish in the SFL2 In all honesty & I'm sure most HFL fans would agree that the remoteness of Brora Wick etc is so far away that travel & money does come Into it! Regionalisation below the championship with a North and South League may work possibly? If and it's an IF, Brora win play-offs and join SFL2 then Montrose drop down to the Highland League. Next season say Wick Academy win the HFL go through the play-offs & go up Following season Cove Rangers win HFL go through the play-offs & go up In theory the HFL could lose teams to the SFL & say Annan Berwick Clyde all fell through the trap door they couldn't possibly go into the HFL could they? The Lowland League would accommodate them making that a bigger League with the HFL shrinking! Stuart Regan & his cronies ain't heading up to The Dudgeon this weekend to see Brora Rangers being crowned HFL champions yet he makes the short journey across to Meadowbank to see Edinburgh City being crowned Champs?! The whole thing reeks & not been thought through, the pyramid system imo is/was designed to get the likes of Spartans or Edinburgh City into the SFL Anyway Brora Rangers are a team of Winners & ex Pro's so they will go out to win every game, will be interesting to see how all this plays out .....
  22. 100% agree Surely Jordan Rhodes has to be in the next squad ! A get together / training camp before the Gibraltar fixture & get him in there for the love of God. Chris Martin not mobile enough & for me not International class SOS Jordan Rhodes
  23. Agree that 20pts will see us Qualify automatically 6pts from Gibraltar games leaving 7pts from - Ireland (A) Georgia (A) Germany (H) Poland (H) That game in June v Ireland is Huge - 3pts there and finish line will be in sight
