  1. Well done you've won the ridiculous comment of the day award
  2. You smoking crack when you typed that!?
  3. Would be happy to see players who can pass the ball like Adam and Cairney in the squad but expect to again see Bardsley, Adam, Cairney etc overlooked for the usuals. Not that any of the 3 of them, or others (McCormack, Rhodes et al) are world beaters but would be nice to see them in the squad. Sigh
  4. I think he's probably alluding to conceding 15463 goals in recent weeks
  5. That would be fine and I agree with most of that. Strachan however, you can just see him playing the same dross; Hanley, Bannan, Chris Martin.
  6. That lad Gilmour and the Tottenham centre back looked the most promising. As promising as young lads are who are with Rangers and Celtic you just think "Hmmm will they ever get a game...." Calvin Miller of a couple years ago the perfect example....
  7. Hanley will start, Chris Martin will start. Burke will probably be sent to the moon. Also Armstrong probably wont be in the squad and if McGinn starts i'll eat my hat.
  8. Good for the national side but won't make much of a difference under the present 'manager'
  9. This is promising stuff, any idea how he got on?
  10. We are no Scotland of 2 years ago either, a game which we lost anyway. A 5-0 hiding is a depressing possiblity
  11. He moved to Scotland over 12 years ago with his family
  12. Technically yes - Slightly different when someone is 13 and has lived in Scotland since being a few months old though. He will consider himself Scottish, speak with a Scottish accent and have been fully coached since a wee boy in Scottish football systems. If anything it would be unusual if he represented Ivory Coast or England.
  13. Not when someone is born in the country who are trying to poach him - They are within their rights to persue him but it's a poor show really.
  14. Both of them would be our best centre backs in 20 years if we had them - 1000000000 miles ahead of Hanley in ability.
  15. Yes - Especially after Strachans comments "we need to find a system that works". Please stop playing tried and tested failures and give some youth a chance you walloper.
  16. Didn't count in the group once the games were removed from final table so basically doesn't count at all. Just like all the goals in Malta this year - so yeah we are yet to score.
  17. That is very poor especially with the lads age. Bizarre almost. Also he's lived in Scotland for 98% of his life and is fully a Scot - For once it's them nicking a player off us! The irony. Probably fate that he turns out to be world class but plays for them...
  18. Snodgrass out for 4 weeks and misses the England match
  19. Worrying now that it seems even if we lose but lose fighting, then Strachan will stay. Starting to think we may be stuck with him to the end on this one now after originally thinking a defeat v England and he would be gone.
  20. Yes big improvment needed from everyone. Bannan, Hanley and a couple of others should be left out to try other options for the upcoming games IMO
  21. Or not play unless he dramatically improves from what we saw in Slovakia.
  22. Seems strange Sporting would allow him to be on loan and not used. Either they must not rate him so they aren't bothered or are planning to get him offloaded or something. Doesn't sound good anyway...
  23. What's the latest on Gauld? Has he played for Vitoria Setubal? We are at the end of October now... He's languished in Sporting Lisbons B team for a long time, to be fair he did play there, so it isn't all wasted time. He's 21 in December. Soon he won't be 'young player with potential'. Is he injured at the moment. Wonder what will come of him - One of our brightest young hopes in a long, long time. Would be sad to see him never fulfill that potential.
