I play in the Fraserburgh league, which seams to be a strong league, I'm pish, however the team I'm playing for are third in the league (I can take 0 credit for that)

As I said in the Hangover thread. I'm going to Give the booze a miss this New Year and Burns Supper season, if I can get through that then I reckon I can give it up for good. That's 5 nights/days out that I would normally get steaming and will be in and around steaming folk!!

I've been diagnosed with Diabetes fairly recently, so I've cut out processed sugars and most carbs out of my diet. Problem is I'm still drinking the same (vodka more often than beer now), but its sending me loopy. Resulting in me having the FEAR for a week after a session. I'm seriously thinking about giving up the booze for New Year and Burns Supper season.

I agree with you, a lot of the guys I work with or have worked with think they've win the lottery, out buying the big cars and motorbikes. I still feel sorry for them if they lose their jobs. I'm ok just now...but that could go tomorrow...luckily I'm shite scared of motorbikes
